Pretty good overall, but not really an 'action' movie - think "Superman Returns". Also, seems like it would've been alot tighter if they'd edited it down to about two hours (alot of it seemed unnecessary but, then again, I'm not really familiar with the comics, so maybe it wasn't). Anyways, worth seeing, but hardly worth rushing out to see.

Almost forgot... the opening credits with Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'" are worth the price of admission alone. Okay, not really, but it was still pretty fantastic.

Found it on YouTube, so check it out before it gets taken down.

The Special effects and Violence were great. However I thought this was one of the stupidest movies that I have ever seen. And I am a big fan of stupid movies. It was also about 60 minutes too long.

Superhero movies with heroes w/o real super powers just doesn't do it for me. Love the grittiness of this movie though. No kiddy, nobody dies stuff. A compelling movie has to have a tragedy of some sort, plural form of tragedy is even better.
Bring on Justice League of America and The Avengers. And all sorts of renditions of the X-Men stuff; Alpha Flight, The New Mutants, etc.
Even Ironman, the Hulk series, and the Fantastic Four series was somewhat more entertaining. And cough, cough, Ghost Rider was okay. Dare Devil... mildly entertaining. Elektra... forgot about this one.
Batman Begins and The Dark Knight have been the exception for me. No real super powers but... great film-making at work.

Problems i've seen have been directors' in ability to make a superhero's cameo something to cheer about.
Transformers is about robots but the human factor overshadowed the connection we never got with the other Autobots that couldn't be introduced because what called
Sponsorship.
Thanks a lot GM. Yes, GM ruined the Transformers series as much as Michael Bay did.
Where was Smokescreen? Where was Hound? And Prowl? And Sunstreaker? Braun, and so many more missing. And thanks again, General Motors. I get it -- not enough "real life" cars for the millions of potential GM car buyers to scounce over.
Fuck sponsorship. Fuck corporate elblow greasing.
We never got that connection with Ratchet and Ironhide that we kinda had with the 1st movie. Forget about Arce's cameo. The ghetto bots were allrite, i guess.
How much more CGI work could've Dreamworks done -- because weren't you guys disappointed that Soundwave didn't get into the fray of the battle?
Which brings me to asking? Will they have Thor in The Avengers movie? Will they have Fantastic Four cameos? What about She-Hulk?
