WEEDS and DEXTER! On Showtime!

Yeah your right mikado weeds needs to go back to what made the show great. Weed what's up with dealing some kind of alcohol energy drink and hash? The show is called weeds dammit. I miss the suburbs days. Hopefully the show goes back to the original days soon. I got 5 on it that was funny when masuka was describing the crime scene. That was one of the best scenes on dexter ever. It was the best episode of the season so far.

Love Peter Weller's character     Great how he's blackmailing Quinn for more money. Will be interesting to see what he does with the photos of Dex & Lumen on the boat

That head of security guy,Cole Harmon, must have told Jordan Chase about Dexter and Lumen being in his apartment that night they got the group photo,hence why Chase suddenly became so interested and knew so much about Dexter at the seminar

I got 5 on it yeah the show is coming together perfectly. Peter Weller is a good villain character addition to the show. The way the recent episode ended it looks like Dex is going to have to kill Quinn or Peter Weller's character. Chase does seem to know something. I like the combo of Lumen and Dex together as a team. Weeds ended good. I liked the season finale. How in the hell is Nancy going to get out of spending life in prison for taking the blame for Shane. Now that Weeds is over looks like Dex is the only show i have left on Showtime besides Inside the NFL. I am going to have to wait till that new show premieres on showtime Shameless. I like the previews for the new show.

The 5th season of Dexter have been quite mediocre at times but holy fuck the latest episode was badass!

Love have Liddy (Peter Weller) has now decided to go off and investigate Dexter by himself in an effort to get his job back and even after Quinn has stopped paying him for his own side project.
The next episode looks great with Liddy bugging Dexters house and seeing Dex showing Lumen his knife collection on the hidden cameras

Clever thinking by Jordan Chase to allow Dexter to kill that banker guy (the final member of the rapist group) and then try and have Dex & Lumen caught in the act by Deb & Quinn.Had a feeling Dex & Lumen would become intimately involved  

Will be interesting to see how the season will end with both Chase and Liddy trying to take down Dexter

I feel like you may already know what's going to happen to Chase and Liddy which is almost the disappointing part about the season so far (which not much as been a disappointment at all).  But still it is a bit too much foreshadowing ahead of time.  You knew from when these characters showed up many episodes ago they were no good and the climax just keeps building up for Dexter to dispose of them.  

As for Weeds, I was very disappointed with the finale, or with most of that last season in general.

Should be a great season finale next week

Had a feeling Chase was going to get to Lumen and there would be a showdown with Dexter. Wonder if Lumen dies at the end of it all.

I have been really busy lately. I haven't had anytime to post on covers in a long time. Yeah i hear ya mikado weeds was disappointing this season. It was entertaining but compared to the other seasons it was garbage. I kinda like the season finale. I wounder how the writers are going to get Nancy out of serving life in prison for Shane's murder. I do miss the old weeds. I have seen a few of the old episodes on the TV guide network and as i was watching i was thinking man what happened to the show. The old seasons were bad ass television. I think the writers went away from what made the show bad ass. The hot white suburban mom with a crazy family and friends who sells weed and associates with black and latino weed dealers and gang members in the suburbs. The story lines were always wacky and action packed. I miss the old weeds. I hope the next season of weeds is better.

Tonight is the season finale of Dexter.  I am curious to see how it all ends. Will be back later to post about how the season comes to an end.

You're right about the ending to this season's weeds, whilst Nancy and her family being on the run was something different this season wasn't the best.

I don't know about next season which will probably be the last. Will Andy,Silas & Shane be in Denmark or will they come back to help Nancy ?
Will Nancy try to give up Esteban for immunity and witness protection ?

I'd like to see Heylia & Conrad come back for a couple of episodes.Along with Doug Wilson

The Dexter finally was boring and predicable. I’m also getting tired of the “Dexter is caught dead to rights but miraculous escapes by the skin of his teeth” scenes.

This time last year I couldn’t wait for the next season to start. Now, its gotten to the point where I almost wish the series would just wrap up so I could see how it ends for Dexter.

Was looking forward to a cliffhanger for next season possibly with an investigation into Dexter's involvement with the murders of the group or something to do with Liddy's murder.Obviously Dexter put a stop to that by tampering with the blood on Quinns shoe killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
I knew Lumen would either be killed or go back to Minnesota.You gotta say it's only a matter of time before Deb finds out who Dexter really is.  

Anyone got any ideas on what next season will be like ?

well you might get your wish on wrapping up the series. Dex and Deb ( real life husband and wife) are about to separate and divorce. They said that the rest of the cast is worried about how they will get along since they have a lot of on screen time together. Let's hope they work it out.

As far as the finale being weak, yeah it was to a point. But I think all of Dexter's other finales have been stellar, so it's hard to compare them. You expect great and get good and are kind of disappointed.

Yeah I just saw that, kind of had a feeling it wouldn't work it out but I don't think it will affect future seasons of the show in any big way. The show is much bigger than their marriage       

btw just realised Michael C.Hall and I share the same birthday , 1st February  and I also bare a vague resemblence to Dexter as well      

"Good" I could take. Hell, I could even take "average." But what they gave us was lazy, poorly thought out shit.

Well the season is over. Seems as i am the only one on here who enjoyed the season finale. I thought it was great and had a lot of nail biting suspense. I really thought Deb was going to bust Dex for sure. I was screaming NOOOOOOOOOOO it can't end this way. I thought they were busted. I thought it was brilliant the way the writers had me and most of us well i guess not you guys but i know i was on the edge of my seat the whole episode. I really wanted Lueman to stay with Dex. I liked the Bonnie and Clyde story line. Dexter is my favorite show of all time so i never want the series to end. I thought the season started out really slow and ended just right. The only reason i pay for Showtime is for the show Dexter. I feel i got my money's worth.

I-Got-5-On-It i think the next season Lueman will be back. I don't think the writers are done with her yet. Dex and Quin will probably get in a confrontation again. Maybe the daughter of Dex will start to get nosy and get suspicious of Dex and try to catch him. I expect the kids to be in the story line more next season for some reason. I think the writers are going to make a lot of changes next season. I have zero complaints on the way the story has developed over the years. So what ever the writers decide i know the next season will be great. I wish the writers of Dexter would help out the writers of Weeds. The writers for Dexter are geniuses. I think the writers of Weeds have smoked themselves stupid. Besides the season finale of Weeds the whole season was pretty awful. Well it's 9 months till Dex and Weeds are back on. I can't wait for next season. I thought the new show Shameless was entertaining. That girl is fuckin HOT! I liked the story idea and characters. 

I love weeds and dexter. Money, I agree that the season finale was pretty good. It cannot be compared to the other season finales in a sense because this one was different, more like a "therapy" finale. Where nobody important had to die. I thought Lumen was going to be dead because everyone close to Dexter "intimate relationship wise" passes, Can't wait for next season!! till then i always go back and watch the old seasons, Dexter is like my favorite show of all time.

yes there are like 2 threads started by me on it and then another 2 or 3 started after by others. It's pretty good, but only 6 episodes for the first season.

Just finished the Dexter season finale. I'm surprised so many were disappointed with it? I liked it because we finally have a sense of relief instead of having to wait almost a year to find out an answer (like many other seasons). I liked knowing that next season will be sort of a "fresh start."

One thing I found funny in the episode was when Deb went to the camp. How did she not see the flipped over car? Lol. And Dexter having one of his knives on him to get himself free, I thought that was kinda cheesy. But overall the episode was good.

As for next season, I don't see them bringing Lumen back, unfortunately. I really liked her and like Money said, the Bonny and Clyde storyline was pretty cool. I think she was just a guest on the show and won't be back. But I do hope I'm wrong! What I like is that they can do anything with the show now. There aren't any lingering questions and the freedom is there to do whatever. One prediction I have for season 6: Deb will find out who the real Dexter is. Somehow she will find out.
