The Night of the Iguana


although the original movie was great w/ incredible acting performances, they took alot of the sex out of the play and merely implied and suggest things. but I cant think of any current actors that could make it BETTER than original.

Flight of the Intruder BUT do it with a PROPER cast and PROPER music. was a GREAT book about the Naval Air war in Vietnam that was DESTROYED by Hollywood.

"All Quiet on the Western Front"


One of the greatest books ever written and the movies they've made of it are not even close.  This story deserves a great movie.

Just thought I stick this in here but Steven King decided that STANLEY KUBRICK fucked up The Shining so he had to remake it and it was another piece of shit King movie.

Bladerunner???  no need to remake a masterpiece by RidleyScott. No one would dare direct it.

I THINK that a current remake of All Quiet on the Western Front either scheduled or in production with "Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe as Paul Baumer. it will have to go some to beat the 1979 made for TV remake of the 1930 classic with Richard Thomas from as Paul Baumer, Ernest Borgnine as Kat and Ian Holm as Himmelstoss which was EXCELLENT.

To each his own, but John-Boy Walton playing the lead just didn't do it for me.  I prefer the 1930 version over the 1979 version, but neither really hit the mark.  Hopefully the latest one will be a bull's eye.

I have to admit that I actually owned and enjoyed this movie hahaha

Then again I was 5 when it came out so give me a break.

I personally thought that Ernest Borgnine was a better "Kat" and Ian Holm a better "Himmelstoss" than Louis Wolheim and John Wray in the original. they also developed Hilletstoss's" character more in the re-make. will agree that Lew Ayres was the better of the two Paul Baumer's
