Bruce opened with 10th Ave Freeze Out and the place just fucking went wild. They just kept playing the opening chords over and over in the dark as the jam-packed AAC in Dallas was filled with people singing along and Bruce encouraging the "Texans" to sing louder and it was pure bedlam. Then the lights came up and they ripped into the rest of the song to complete mayhem.
Radio Nowhere was next and it was on for the evening.......
The Boss was upbeat and seemed to really enjoy himself claiming he likes Dallas etc.
Other highlights included Lonesome Day, Trapped and a rip-roaring redention of Jungleland. Nils ripped up his guitar on Because the Night and was just spellbinding. Little Stevie looked as ugly as usual but was as entertaining as ever. Max the drummer celebrated his 57th birthday so the boys were in fine form.
Bruce opened his encore with Meeting Across the River which I have never heard him do live. That was special. They finished with this Irish tune that was pretty interesting.
The only bummer was the Big Man who sat slumped in a chair when not blowing his horn. When he blew it was magic, but he was not himself. Dunno what is up with that.
All in all......another special E-Street night.

I snuck a digital hand-held recorder in and it came out pretty good for the exception of people yelling their heads off around me. Not a bad boot-leg treasure of the evening however.
Next up, the CURE on June 6th as the man in my Avatar brings his special graces to the American Airline Center. And you can rest assured I will not be stone cold sobor for that one.
