With credit to Tom Dowd,going off memory here,for a very very nice recording.From lp-8 track - cassette - cd what a f'king show.I think i would sacrifice a pinky finger to be transported back in time to that show.Would not even have to be front row.Only other i would think about in those terms would be James Marshall.

Very BEST song from "SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band" movie featuring Peter Frampton with hair.......  Truly a TOP 5 or 10 SONG of all time...especially the lyrics......."looking up. I noticed I was late"..........."went upstairs, had a smoke, somebody spoke, fell into dream...ahahhhhhhh"'.......GREATNESS....Fantastic  choice  GG... 

Weren't those 70's disco icons the "Bee Gees" in  that flick too...

This is a tough job and there is no way I can please everybody.

I accepted that fact coming in nine months ago.


The Beatles have to be mentioned in the top 5.  No question.

I agree, there could have been 20 other songs that represented them.  A Day in the Life has always been my personal favorite.




Four more Bands to go and the choices get even tougher.

Just to get you back to a new page...one of my  favorite Beatles songs.....Rocky Racoon......."fell back in his room, only to find  Gidgeons Bible"..... 

So many great albums with so many great tunes and really even when they split up they all had some songs and a couple( John and Paul) with great albums.......ie Lennon's  "IMAGINE" and my favorite movie score of all time, James Bond with leading lady, Solitaire, Paul 's  "Live and Let Die"......

Good luck with picking the FINAL 4..have had to rehash your list for artist's that have not  made it yet...
