I forget about it sometimes, but Deep Purple 'Made in Japan' is a badass album. Maybe one of the most influential albums of my teens (and I was a teen in the 90's.)
One of the very best live albums ever.
You were listening to it 20 years after it's release and fast forward another 20 years and it still kicks azz.

Well, I was fully prepared to take the heat. About Smoke on the Water not making Deep Purple's best song. Or Child in time not making it as Blackmore's best solo. Or maybe threre's just a lot of us who feel Highway Star is simply THE BEST road tune and NEEDS to be number one.
Last chance to grill me on Deep Purple, because I'm moving on down the road towards number 21...

Soft spot for "Hush" Fiancee doesn't know that it's dropping on wedding night. I only got a couple windows for something sneaky with our DJ, but I managed to get this one in there. I'm sure shes gonna love it.....

Now, I expect a fight on this pick, or this entire Music Forum is a collection of puzzies. Call Me the Breeze does it for me because my '69 Firebird WAS NOT to be beat. Doesn't mean it was Skynyrds best. but it certainly worked for me.
"I dig you Georgia Peaches"... My GF had a good dog named Peaches.
