I don't agree with the top 10..........in fact, I don't agree with a lot of it. As with most of these types of lists, they try to "spread the wealth" too much rather than just listing what really are the best of whatever they're pronouncing.
They have TP's"American girl" in there, but nothing from UFO, Judas Preist, Robin Trower, REO Speedwagon (Think "157 Riverside Ave.), Pat Travers................too many fundamental mistakes on the list.

None of the bands you mentioned belong in the Top 10. When it comes to Guitar songs I am not sure who you could put above Hendrix, Cream, or Zeppelin.
REO Speeswagon? Are you kidding me? That guitarist played simple scales, nothing special at all. The only one that I would consider is Robin Trower.
