I've seen a couple shows there (U2 a few years ago).  I'm not a great critic of these things, but I thought it was fine.

I hope this show comes to Denmark. I saw Dark side of the moon, when he was touring with that.

 OK........getting good seats is gonna be $$........there's going to be a presale for AMEX holders (Gold or better) starting on May 3rd. I can't tell if this is for every show or just the first few (check Ticketmaster for the show in your area). I've seen where the tix prices are going to range from $55-$250/seat...............but it'll be MUCH more after the show sells out, which shouldn't be more than a day or two. I haven't seen any mention of a ticket auction, so this could be a scalpers dream.

Just a note...........I'm getting an AMEX Gold card & it should be in my hands in about a week. For those who don't yet have one, you can apply online & you'll get an answer in just a few minutes.

Thanks for the info.Saw this tour back in 1980 @ Nassau Coliseum.Still,to this day, gives me chills thinking about that performance.I think I'm going to pass this time around since The Wall is not one of my faves... now if he was doing a "Meddle-Animals-Wish You Were Here" tour....

 "The Wall" tour never made it to Seattle...........in fact, PF only played here once in my adult years (1987) & that was after Roger left the band. I need to see this show & I will........at least twice. But I agree with you in that a Meddle/Animals/WYWH tour would be outtasight, even though RW played Sheep, WYWH, Have a CIgar, Shine on you Crazy Diamond during his DSOTM tour in 2006-2008.

 I would've loved to have seen the original.......

Mugg, I know he's playing the entire The Wall album, but I assume there will also be other songs as well?

 I honestly don't know.............I believe he'll play "The Wall" beginning to end, but one would imagine there would be some sort of an encore & you would think it would have to be something other than a tune off the Wall.

Yes,his DSOTM tour was fantastic.I hope you get a chance to attend The Wall tour this time around.This is probably sacrilegious... but I'll say it anyway... if you get a chance,you might want to attend an Australian Pink Floyd show.Since a Pink Floyd reunion is impossible, they are the next best thing.Trust me,this tribute band delivers the goods.

 Saw them back in "07............& I agree, they were excellent........did a great job on "One of these Days" & "Pigs". I'd recommend their show as well.

Damn, too bad he'll be playing the new Consol Energy Center on a MONDAY!  It's the closest to me, but still a 3 hour drive.

 Just heard that the Madison Square Garden show sold out in 12 mins.  

 I'm sure that's only the allotted tix for the AMEX presale.........there's still the itunes thing & then general public on 5/10.

 Less than 2 hours now for us west coasters

AMEX presale for Tacoma show sucked...........I landed two about half way back on the left......row 7..........not bad but if I was going to the show in Pittsburgh I could've gotten 2 on the floor dead center of the arena..........fuckin perfect for this surround sound spectacle.

The price structure is like this...........a VIP ticket will get you parking, dinner, drinks, programs, shirt, etc. & seat in the 1st 5 rows.........for $699/ticket.
 A premium package will get you something similar just less frills & a little further back on the floor...........for $450/ticket.
 I paid $201/ticket + that stupid fuckin TM "convenience fee" of $25 for my two seats.

 As much as I'm dying to see this show I'm not forkin over $450+ for 1 seat...................for the DSOTM tour they had ticket auctions that allowed a regular guy like me to land seats in the 3rd row from the stage for $280/ticket.........yeah, that's a bit insane too but this ain't some Dave matthews show.........RW doesn't come to town 3 times a year............this is probably it for one of the greats........last chance.

  ITunes had a deal where, if you downloaded a cut off "The Wall", you would get a password that would enable you to get some choice seats for this show.................people are trying to sell the passwords on ebay for as much as $100.
