Well, semi good news.

The only one of those pieces of shit on any ipod I possess or itunes library is that Crash Test Dummies song called "MMM MMM MMM MMM"

snow-informer is a bad ass song

r-kelly - you remind me of somthing is a tight song

color me badd - good shit

wreckx n effect - rump shaker is an anthem

gerardo - rico suave awesome song

vanilla ice - ice ice baby  (i believe the best selling single in hip-hop history if im thinking right) another CLASSIC

I think when they saw "awesomely bad", the emphasis is on bad, not awesome.  These are not only bad songs, they are really really awesomely bad.

I didn't find out until I was watching VH1 one day and I Love the 80's happened to be on, and they were on there saying the exact same thing.  The people on there were like "you think it is this big black guy singing this song, and then you see the video and are like WTF".

The absolute worst song I've ever heard was "Taxi" by Harry Chapin. This apparently was a hit song in the early 70s. I heard it on the radio a few months ago and had a good 5 minute laugh at the talentless douchebag who wrote the song and the sadistic fucking DJ who played it on a classic rock station during weekday rush hour. Here's a taste of the lyrics,
 
It took a while, but she looked in the mirror,
And she glanced at the license for my name.
A smile seemed to come to her slowly,
It was a sad smile, just the same.
And she said, "How are you Harry?"
I said, "How are you Sue?
Through the too many miles
and the too little smiles
I still remember you."
 
Hearing this kind of song makes you think of Belushi ripping the acoustic guitar out of the folkie's hand in Animal House and smashing it to bits against the wall. Where was he when Chapin went into the studio to record this?

There are for sure some great songs on that list:
 
Heart of Rock & Roll, Informer, Ice Ice Baby (classic), Party all the time
 
But I do agree with Crazy Town, Don Johnson, and Sisqo.
