check out Budgie.....a Welsh band formed in late 60's....Metallica and Judas Priest list as a major influences.......i saw with Black Sabbath .....

now i KNOW.....you haven't heard of Legs Diamond....

actually had several 8 tracks .....of theirs (that got eaten by that bad ass Craig 8 track player i had.....)    an LA band that was popular in San Antonio for whatever reason......saw with Nugent and also REO.....both tremendous shows

UFO was great. They were a Chicago favorite. I must have seen them about 4 or 5 times.

Don't forget Zebra, they may have been the early 80's. I think they made one album, but it was really good.

More the late 60's, but does anybody recall the 13th Floor Elevators ("Your Gonna Miss Me") or Fever Tree ("San Francisco Girls")? Two of the earlier psychodelic bands from the Austin/Houston area. Elevators were better with Roky Erickson & ZZ Topper, Billy Gibbons but both were pretty hot at the time -

damn you boys are steppin up big time....kicked my ass with those....Moxy.....Rainbow......just listened to Montrose.....> many forget that was S Hagar on lead vocals....kinda biased ....but no doubt ?.....70's the best decade as far as music goes....tremendous R&B stuff also.....disco thing definitely counts against us though....don't mention clothes either please

one of my favorites (forgot all about).....was Trapeze...Glenn Hughes and others.....> Deep Purple.....other guys to J Priest....Whitesnake...Sabbath
