2011 Nascar Fantasy League Info

alright, gonna go in and adjust the points and bonus points now that they have changed the point system, i will post it here first.....as long as all is good, I will than send out invites this week so we can get this baby going.

they are making adjustments to the site, hopefully I will be able to finalize this shit by tonight...I want to have invites out by this weekend if at all possible.

alright, I adjusted the scoring to put in the new changes to the point system and adjusted the bonuses. Here are the new points to be awarded. I also adjusted it to where we can make up to 4 driver changes per week, figured this would make it more interesting as someone had mentioned it. If people want me to change it back to unlimited, I can do that also.

You will recieve the points for finishing position just as you would with the new nascar point systems(SCPTS Field) , I adjusted the bonus points so they are more inline with the new points system.

Example. Say your driver completes every single lap for the Daytona 500, he would earn 2.5 points for that,

Example 2 ..Say your driver led 100 laps during a race , He would recieve 1 bonus point for leading the laps. If he only led 10 laps he would get  .1 points as so on. This had to be done as we can't award too many points with the new point system.

STANDARD Owners can make deposits via e-check or credit card. Both transaction types require a 3% convenience fee.
So if your league fee is $25, you’ll pay $25.75

Doesn't matter to me, you guys decide....using this makes it safe for everyone, as not everyone here knows me, and I don't want to have to be chasing people either.

You can set the league up any which way, I was thinking maybe where we can award a % of the money for the 1st half of the year (say 25% or something like that) and than pay out maybe 1st and 2nd at the end of the season also. i am open to any ideas, want to make it where everyone stays in all season long. I haven't even thought of how to do payouts yet, I figured everyone can make suggestions or we can vote on it or something, but I am down to awarding multiple winners....we can even bump up the league fee a few more bucks if people want, doesn;'t matter to me.

Shooter....How do you get 2.5 points if your driver completed every lap with the chart above? I'm having a hard time grasping this points deal.

looselugs is correct, bad example by me...

I am I missing something?  500 is 200 laps so the total would be  1 point for completing all laps.

this is what I have confirmed thus far, Have everyones email except for 1.....if anyone else wants in or has friends that want in....now is the time, i am going to send out invites probably by end of today or tomm.  I would think we should be able to hit atleast 25 people.

wow,good point there, kinda missed that happening....think we should just get rid of the bonus pts for the pole, that will take care of any confusion
