Plenty of rumors flying around that Tony intentionally hit Ward...

I have seen the video. At the very least Ward was incredibly stupid for running into the path of cars passing. No way in hell you can deduce that Stewart tried to run over the guy. You have to have to be a person full of hatred to think he did that. No way in hell

Bad situation, but that is racing. Guys are flirting with death to race and they all know it. But you are more than flirting with death if you run onto a race track in anger. I feel bad for the guy and his family... but from what I have read, he is alive - don't know what condition

Kevin Ward Jr. Was DOA as far as this being avoided it could have been now there was witnesses it was a caution the witnesses claim when tony came back around he didn&#x27;t slow down he just smashed the gas and then struck kevin and throwing him and killing him.

Hes gonna race...Hes Tony Stewart.&#xD;&#xA;Looks to me that Tonys anger got the best of him. He could say he didn&#x27;t see him of course but I just watched  the you tube video...... Looks like Kevin was pissed ,got out of his car under caution and was walking down the track pointing at Tony to confront him when Tony came around the corner and kind of goosed it and  swerved towards him and the right rear clipped him.&#xD;&#xA;Not good. but  the dude should have known better than to walk out into the track with a bunch of sprints still running.&#xD;&#xA;.

After watching the video several more times....Ward runs down the track and stops just short of getting hit by the blue 45 car just ahead of Tonys car..

Wow just Wow.....Sure looks like old Smoke let his temper get the better of him. Lots of witnesses saying they heard him gas it and the back end swerved and hit Ward as the video would suggest. Crazy stuff.....I say he meant to scare the kid but obviously took it to far.

Replace Tony Stewart&#x27;s name with Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer, Kenny Schrader, etc. and this story is almost impossible to believe. However since it is Tony Stewart I&#x27;m not completely shocked. Do I think that Tony intentionally meant to injure Kevin Ward Jr.? No way, but he is wholly responsible for that kid not being alive this morning,it just can&#x27;t be established in a court of law.

Undisclosed settlement is what will come out of this. The guy ran out in front of a bunch of sprint cars in the middle of a racetrack .  Smoke has got a temper but this was an accident . I&#x27;m sure this will create a new  rule in Nascar where drivers can&#x27;t do this anymore or there will be a big penalty .

problem I have is that Tony gassed it as he was near the kid, knowing that the rear was going to kick out towards the kid.....He was probably only trying to kick dirt up at him, but he F&#x27;d up and killed someone....agree that there will be a settlement, and nothing will happen to Tony.
