First off, they had a better record with westy in the lineup this year.. 2nd, what did they do last year when westy went down in playoffs? Rockets came back and almost beat them in first round then Memphis destroyed them in I think 5 games!!!!

That's two games in a row that RusselMania is going bonkers.... Almost had a triple double again today for the 2nd game in a row. 

Loving OKC's defense. Yea they are jump shooting team but Westbrook gives them that insane dynamic. When they're firing on all cylinders with their defensive game and the rebounding they will be hard to beat.

Any Guard in this league or any other league would be petrified at the idea of guarding Russell Westbrook. His only problem is that he doesn't think like a true PG, because he believes he's a superstar. Who can blame him

Paul is a living legend, he will have other monster games during his career.  He is the 2nd best point guard ever only behind Magic Johnson.  Stockon wouldn't be able to do nothing vs Paul.  This guy hits his free throws, takes over in crunch time and is a winner.

Why would anyone take a poster named TennisTodd seriously? Pretty obvious he is clueless about the NBA and hoops in general. Westbrook is one of a kind

He seems like the best until he turns it over 8 times going 7-24 from the field.... That is why I would take a CP3/Rondo type of pg any day over Westbrick.

Sorry kevmode, but that's laughable that you prefer a pg who can't shoot a mid range jump shot than Westbrook. Rondo is a liability when playing against a quality side as they just sag off him and fill up they key.

I'll only take cp3 & wall in front of wb.

agreed. rondo isnt pulling down 10 boards... neither is CP3.

just different players. OKC doesnt use a PG anyway. Durrenat starts the offense sometimes, WB sometimes, and now Jackson... they really dont need a true PG pounding the rock and "getting poeple in their spots" thats not okc style

I've never understood the love for cp3....everyone always talks about clutch this and that and whatever. He has never won anything. If the clippers lose this series it will just be another failure with the team they have and he will continue to get worked by the best combo guard in the league in westbrook. its weird how hate blinds people. People don't like westbrook for some reason. Probably the same people who argue lebron is not the best player in league

You sure Rondo isn't grabbing 10 boards?  Rondo grabbed 10 or more boards in 4 games during the 2012 playoffs and he usually had 10+ assist every single game during that year.

Rondo is a triple double machine..... Guy grabs a lotta boards. He's got serious ups and super long arms.... 

The only gaurd in the league to come close to Westbrook is Rondo IMO. Rondo will be around for a long time. Basketball IQ is through the roof on that guy. Gotta feeling he will have a very big year next year once he's fully healthy. 

Sky's the limit for Westbrook. Imagine if the bulls had westbrook right now instead of that chump D Rose.... the azz whipping the bulls would unload on the East would be epic.

I usually agree with you on things but you are so wrong on that statement it's not even funny. 2nd best pg ever?? Wow. I'll just leave it at that.

Stockton was amazing by the way... His numbers don't lie. all time leader in steals and assists. His durability was legendary, and his efficiency and smarts is what got him playing at such a high level for a very very long time. Look at his fg % as well. He wasn't athletic but somehow managed to be an amazing nba player.

Gary Payton even said Stockton was the hardest guy for him to guard.  You don't know nba history if you think Paul is better than Stockton..

I am looking over their regular season stats and Paul has a higher free throw percentage, averages 5 points more per game, similar assist and steals avg.  I don't really see what Stockton does better then Paul.  Playoff stats Paul avgs 22 points 11 assist and 5boards a game.  Stockton playoff avgs 13.4 points 10 assist and 3.3 board a game.

Stockton played till he was in his 40s though.. And still shot over 50% fg for his long long career and way more durable than Paul and Paul is still in his prime.

I respect you kev. Let's just leave it that Paul is a very good pg and hopefully he has a long career and continues his success. You never know, hopefully he doesn't pull a DWill and start to regress due to injuries or whatever is ailing DWill
