Hell of a run i'm having for the playoffs especially the finals.
I have correctly predicted Championship winner last 3 NBA Finals. Alot of my plays are all based around who i believe the league wants to be in the finals & who i think they want to win it all based on league profits, ratings and revenues.
I then determine winner based on officiating crews stats, tendencies & history . Officiating becomes quite important especially in the Finals as ref stats/records have helped me determine the winning team (especially if it's the teams that i have predicted the league wants to advance)
So w/ that said here are my Future Bets:
2016 NBA Championship Winner:
Golden State Warriors @ $1.70
I believe the WCF will be between the Spurs & the Warriors. This series i believe is the real NBA Finals. It will be ratings heaven for Silver & predict it to go 6 at the very least. A game 7 would be HUGE in regards to ratings for the league.
I think the Spurs are a very much capable of upsetting the Champs. Why i don't think they advance to the Finals is simply because i think the league has had enough of Spurs for now. I think the Spurs vs Lebron/Miami story line was very relevant and exciting - the Big 3 bought team vs vets/Pop who built a team the right way and are Lebrons cryptonite to boot was a good preface to the series.
The new, current story line is Lebron vs Curry. I believe the league will profit more w/ this match up than it would vs the Spurs. Golden State & Steph Curry is pretty much the new cash cows for Silver!!! Lebron is still very much relevant though, so this series will bring in HUGE profits for Silver, especially w/ Irving playing this time round.
Remember also how ratings would spike each time Miami lost a game to the Spurs - it will be very similar here each time the Warriors take a game from Lebron. This is a clear indication that there are still very much plenty of people who dislike Lebron & love to see him lose....especially on the big stage & each of these Cavs losses will equate to revenue for the league. Especially a possible game 7.
Speaking of a game 7. I predict the series will go the distance. Just way too much money to be made here. The series will be even & at some point. Cavs will even be up by a game - all smoke and mirrors until the eventual game 7 where Curry & crew take Lebron & the Cavs down once more and Silver is swimming in $$$$$$$$.
I will make the finals individual wagers accordingly to how i believe it will end up and if i am again correct we are going to have another nice finals run.

I've predicted the Heat to reach the ECF since the start of the season. As w/ all the teams that i had predicted to advance i believe the 1st games are always the ones they are supposed to win, meant to win, will win and will be 'assisted' to win if need be.
So if indeed Miami are supposed to win this series they will take this 1st game. If they happen to lose then we double up on them in game 2.
Why do i believe Miami reaches the ECF? Because they will most likely face Lebron & the Cavs!! There's no better story line in the East than Lebron facing his old team he betrayed w/ his team that he once bolted on also. Pat Riley has made it quite clear his disdain for Lebron disrespecting the Godfather & the organization.
'Smiling faces & hidden agendas' - Pat Riley
This series will generate a nice little revenue more than any other match up in the East. When you look at the other potential teams you have Hornets, Raptors & Indiana. Though Indiana could be a nice series w/ PG, it was more Miami & Indiana when Lebron was a Heat that was always a heated battle. Cavs & Indiana have no real history. Raptors and Hornets are a bore fest.
Now you look @ Miami w/ Lebrons BFF Wade, add in Deng (Lebrons nemesis), Joe Johnson (whom rejected Lebrosn offer to sign w/ Heat instead), Dragic, Whiteside and exciting rooks and you have a very exciting potential meeting that will generate alot of dollars for Silver.
Playoffs is all about ratings & revenues and what match ups will help create those dollars for the league. I'm simply predicting who i think the league wants to advance based on how much money they can generate to line the pockets of Silver and his league.
Basketball Wise:
Miami are the better team. Miami is better than their record. Though they managed to lock up the 3rd spot, spite of losing that last game to the Celtics, the Heat are a better team than what their record indicates. The problem has always been Spo not having the nuts to control Wade freelancing.
Miami are a solid team when the ball moves & doesn't stick. When they share the ball and everybody gets touches and opportunities we are a tough team to beat. 'Feeding the big dogs' as what Wade describes it resulted in alot of losses and inconsistencies. This is no longer about Wade, who is far from his prime. This is about team ball and trusting his team mates.
W/ that said Wade does his best work in the PO's. But he no longer can carry or win games on his own on a daily basis. He needs to trust in his team mates and move the ball. When we do all this we win, simple as that.

Thank god you are here again!! Good luck and lets cash with the rigged NBA playoffs
I'm mad rusty and left covers for the reg season because i was sucking pretty badly I haven't made any wagers since i left. So please tread carefully w/ blindly following plays. Always go w/ your own guts & instincts.
W/ that said i haven't been wrong much for the NBA Finals in the last 3 seasons. So if my hunches here are correct about Cavs/Miami/Spurs/Golden States then we're in for a good ride

Remember also i not only predicted winner for each game but i predicted who the league would send to officiating based off who i believed would win the game according to wich teams i believed would win the series.

I think the Miami/Charlotte series will go to 5. I believe if Miami are supposed to take the series that it will go to 5 games. Why? because Miami goes as far as Wade takes them. Wade isn't exactly young any longer and any risks to his health will be too risky if a meetings against the Cavs is the plan.
This was my strategy in the past w/ the Spurs. Because i had Spurs making NBA finals, w/ key pieces Duncan, Parker & Manu being old vets, any risks to their health would be detrimental to the league's master plan. So i bet according to what i had predicted series to go 5 max games. in 2014 when Spurs beat Miami to win the title they faced GSW & Memphis - both series whent to 5 games. I cashed quite nicely betting accordingly. I also did the same in 2013 spurs vs OKC WCF. I predicted it would go 6 max and it did. IF you can find my post that year you'll see i killed that series leading to the finals.

And so it begins! I didn't watch the game but will have to watch the replay to see how Kenny Mauer & his goons worked the game. That is a massive blowout. From the boxscore it looks like Mauer did a great job or Miami were just that good, or a little of both.
Game 2 will be interesting. Does the league want a back & forth w/ Hornets taking game 2 or do they just want Miami to win this series already. I'm sure this series is not pulling in ratings. & the more rest the better for vets like Wade, Deng, JJ, Amare etc.
I'm liking Miami again for game 2. Charlotte should take game 3, then when everybody thinks Hornets will take game 3 Miami takes game 4 and then finish the series in Miami in game 5.
