So up $1700 on the week (my weeks start Monday for my records).  I was patient, both well thought out, high-value plays that I'd waited all week to place those bets Wednesday.  Made another play on Thursday, didn't have it as high of a value as my Wednesday plays but still thought it had decent value and I was feeling good and confident from Wednesday so I played it.  It was the Canes/Bruins game, I had Canes ML +135...up 2-1 going into the 3rd and they ended up losing.  Shouldn't have been a big deal but for whatever reason I just wanted to make another play so I played Denver ML in the NBA...not well thought out, no great feel, nothing like that, but played it anyway.  Obviously another loss.  I'm a big hockey guy so was excited for the World Championships starting today, had my eye on a few bets but nothing I was really liking, but I wanted some daytime action for fun so played the early game...loss.  Played the afternoon game...loss.Even though I didn't full-on chase, increase my bets, etc. it was still like a half-tilt.  So after a great and selective start to my week, up $1700 Wednesday night, here I sit down $300 on the week less than 48 hours later.  Not the end of the world by any means, but definitely didn't need to make those extra plays that by my usual standards wouldn't have made the cut. But Mulligan is totally right, take a break for a couple days, clear the head, regroup, and then let the great plays find you.  Don't force it.Mulligan28
