Amare on the verge of accepting a 100 mil deal from the Knicks!!!

hahha youre obsessed with those systems eh? ill give you this system merely because its the most prominent one in the nba but I think amare is a great fit in ny and if maybe the knicks can get one of my favorite point guards raymond felton and sign Lebron James already having signed amare they would look really good going intto next season with

PG -  Raymond Felton

SG - Danillo Gallinari

SF - Lebron James

PF - Amare stoudemire

C - either get David Lee to play undersized or sign a veteran like Camby or someone else

what do you guys think of that lineup

its never 100% imposible man come on......... they could pay a luxury tax but hopefully they would not have to because like i said they dont necessarily have to sign Lee and could get some one else but Lee is not close to the max. hes near 10 mil a year and probably less. so they would have enough cap space is tmac would take less money.

dude you could easily switch the defensive matchup when the time comes but you dont like that lineup that i posted? have you seen ray felton play? hes a very solid point guard in this league and I believe he can offer more than a guy like mo williams on the defensive side and has a much bigger frame than him as well as being a much better passer. but I think that knicks need to get either lebron or wade at this point because Joe Johnson and amare wont cut it. i doubt knicks fans want to be a 1st round and out team?

i see what youre saying but that is just a technicality. you could easily have lebron guard the opposing teams best player. there is no law that states the sg has to guard the other sg.......

but I think people are forgetting about ray felton, he is a proven passer and ball handler. he can also shoot 3s pretty well and averages more than a steal a game and is a decent rebounder. TEAMS NEED TO STOP SLEEPING ON RAY FELTON!!!!!

you raise a valid point in terms of defense and hopefully they could get a big man like ronny turiaf or just someone to occupy that space on the floor for defensive purposes because eddie curry and earl barron do not play defense......

so youre right they need a big man to play defense so thats why i suggested camby if he doesnt retire but if they can just find someone to clog the lane they would be in good shape with the rest of the guys i listed..

I think hes a started that could get limited minutes on any team. He did it with Portland last year so I think he could do it again this year but I dont the knicks would bring him back..... Its too bad he couldnt stay healthy throughout his career. He was so talented....

But youre absolutely right the Knicks will not go anywhere in the playoffs until they get some kind of defensive presence. So they better keep that in mind. As much as Mike D'antoni's system does not incorporate defense he better realize that he needs some individual players that can defend other teams big men because Earl Barroon, Eddie Curry, and David Lee are not the answer.....
