My guy wants to cancel his OKC series win play. He had it at +105 a while back. Now they are -105. He is begging me to cancel play.
What do I do? If I cancel it for him, you can bet your MOTHER FUCKING HOUSE Miami will win series.
I need him to lose this bet as it is quite large and he will inevitably chase.
Then again by not cancelling I could make him make bets throughout the series trying to hedge and pay more juice.
pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. pay more juice. DOES THIS GIVE YOU ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO RUN A BOOK?
NEVER LET SOMEONE CANCEL A BET, NEVER. ACTION KILLS US.

Get a bookie of your own and pass his bet on...whatever he bets bet the same thing with the other bookie, or go online and do that with an online book.

Believe me, when I can't afford to pay him on a bet I pass the action on to my online book for that proportion and he will gladly put the cash upfront. But I was greedy. Didn't think he would run hotter than Jesus H. Christ himself. He's been making stupid plays that are over-juiced, such as live in-play and player props (-120 both ways).
The juice is all fine. But there is only one small problem:
HE.
DOES.
NOT.
MISS.
I don't care if you're laying -150 on a 50-50 game, I need him to miss sometimes to make money!!!

He told me that he would win every single year if he made basketball bets on his predictions ever since he was 6. I thought he was delusional as he started paying my bills in the beginning.
Now he not only made me his bitch who pays his bills, he took EVERYTHING from me AND got me in debt.
If Miami wins the next game it wouldn't be so bad.. I could probably hedge his action by betting OKC series win when they are like +600 or something.

I think that's accurate...if OKC is down 3-2 going back home for the last two, I would feel confident that they would win the series...of course being up 3-2 would be even better

And as far as this MK character is concerned...he seems to be fairly good at picking winners...but his money management is horrible...
Went on a winning streak and did very well...then tied a whole bunch of bets to Miami in game 5 of eastern conference final and lost a bundle...swore to everyone that even he learned a lesson there, too many eggs in one basket, won't do that again...
Then he makes a series bet on OKC...bets OKC every game so far...bets OKC two units tonight -3.5...one more unit on ML...tied that game to two other parlays yesterday...claims he'll wager five units in game 5 on them if they lose game 4...and who knows how many parlays will be tied to that one...
So yeah...he picks winners...but I bet most of the people following him are losing money because there is absolutely no money management being taught...wouldn't surprise me if he works for one of the books...
It's funny because he stresses don't mention any books here...but as soon as he posts a play that isn't offerred by most books...there is a guy there named awesome guy (probably an alias of MK) that comes on and says you need to get an account at the sportsbook MK uses...and MK comes on and says if you want to know the book I use e-mail me
So he brings the book customers and then supplies them with just enough winners so they will trust him and then because they have no money management skills lose tons of cash...what a joke!

I'll have you know that last year as a player I won more money than what I had lost in the previous 11 years combined, and won that much more. Do you know how I did it?
I went against all the so called "experts" and touts. I did everything against what your "professional" sports bettor would advice you to do.
Money management? Fuck that, a sure way to juice your money away. Parlays a suckers bet? That's all I did! I kept laying heavy public chalk. I kept on betting heavy public OVERS, especially when they were 70+ And I had countless "All in's".
I went against the "systems" that did very well according to stats, instead I had my own "systems" or "sweet spots" when looking at the match ups gave me a certain rush or feeling.
Money management is all BS. How can one person make money and one person lose money betting the same thing? You might lose big on one selection but it might also just go your way, making it very hard for the books to get it back.
Two summers ago I used to deal blackjack on the side to make money. Do you know how this one guy played?
He would bet $5 on three spots, lose, bet $10 on three spots, lose, bet $20 on three spots. He would go on mad tilt and would not care about money, just wanted to win a goddamn hand.
At one point in time he had $50 on three spots each. He was delt:
8 - 8, 7 - 4 and K - K for 20. I was showing a 5 but of course, I had a 6 underneath that he did not know about.
He splits the 8's. Gets an 4, stays, gets a 3, doubles and bricks. Doubles the 7-4 and gets a deuce.
So now he has something that looks like:
$50 $50x2 $50x2 $50
Brick - Brick - Brick - 20
I open up my 5 - 6. Draw an Ace and a face. He celebrates in my face.
Next hand, he plays one spot $5. I felt like flipping the table over.

Money management is what makes the difference between a good capper and a great capper...refer to my statement above on MK, he is a good capper with poor money management, or he works for the books!

His OKC series bet doesn't look very good either. Should pay for my trip to Vegas and my entry into the WSOP.
How much should I take from him to cancel his bet? 90% of the total (stake + potential win)? So if he has bet 10 units to win 10 units, should I take 8 units (90%*20 minus the 10) to cancel his bet? I think he is drawing dead.

How bad of a bet is it to bet the exact series score? My guy not only did it, he hedged against himself trying to cut his losses (wins?) and leave himself open to lose a whole lot more.
Basically betting Miami to win the series in 6 games at +500. If he wins this, he still loses the OKC series bet for a small profit. If OKC wins series (in 7 obv), he loses this bet he just made, small profit.
If Miami wins in 5 (most likely outcome) or in 7, he loses everything.
It's too bad basketball season had to finish while he was up. He still makes stupid bets in baseball by betting run-line parlays and shit. That's what he did today and his teams won by 2 and 1 run respectively costing him the parlay by 1 run.

If you are this concerned about 1 bettor something tells me you dont have the bankroll sufficient to be a bookie.

I will repeat for a gazillionth time: I. AM. NOT. A. REAL. BOOKIE.
What's so complicated about that? I am a normal player who knows a bunch of people that like to gamble and don't want to deal with credit card fees and such things. So they give me their plays. I can take their plays like a bookie, or I can put them in my online account.
You guys are just jealous you are perpetual losers and that my EV is positive.

What really sucks is that I only let him bet 70% of what he originally wanted to bet on OKC to win the series. I told him I can't cover more than that amount. Later I called another bookie (a real one) to see if I could pass on the rest of his action. I was getting a better price too. But then my client did not want to add to it.
