Watch PLAYOFFS ONLY..... You're 100% correct... Absolutely garbage this league is today... Corruption at its finest.. Not to mention the lack of defense..... Jordan would of EASILY SCORED 50 A GAME in today's NBA.... Back in the defensive era....30 point leads were secure 99% of the time... Today.....one half could erase that...it's an absurd joke. Jordan.... Pippin... Magic... Isaiah... Bird.. PLAYED EVERY GAME.... Not this BS sit out cuz it's a back to back sissy ball... At least in the playoffs.....THE MEN COME OUT . otherwise..... I just make a play here or there and check the ticker... Can't watch today's product in reg Season....

In my 40’s if I didn’t gamble I’d only be watching during the playoffs. Growing up I was a huge “Bad Boys” fan. We were for sure spoiled on the 80’s-90’s what an era of basketball that was

Yea, the game is mostly garbage now compared to back then... but Steph Curry is a living legend, and by the end of his career will probably be regarded as the 2nd greatest player of all time. Just like watching Jordan (especially in the playoffs), watching Steph is like watching an artist at work.

NBA regular season is a glorified exhibition/pre-season where losing a game means absolutely nothing. Unless there are format changes the interest will continue dropping every year.

Me! I watch it! I like it. I don't like the all the whining. I agree with all the comments above about Jordan and Bird, but those were different times. That was a time when men were men. They didn't give a fuck if you didn't like them. Today's players, as gifted athletically as they are , are far to worried about feelings and what everyone else thinks. Kobe was the last of of the killers in the NBA.

I can’t bear to watch a game. Heck I don’t event watch my nets anymore. Used to watch them in the late 90s and early 2000. Now I don’t care anymore.
apart from that the game now has way too many whistles and replays that just ruins the momentum of the game.. then you have players constantly arguing with the refs.. like get back in defense stop fighting with the refs.. then the amount of 3 pointers taken by one player in a game drives me nuts..

WOW . Very interesting. I’ve often wondered how the NBA is t turning of tons of fans. It’s such garbage. The NBA literally gives zero fucks. I absolutely can’t stand how often star players sit out for no fucking reason. Other than some lame excuse of load management. I thought off days were for rest. People blinded by thinking load management helped Khawi win a championship. In reality. Durant and Thompson getting hurt is why he got his second chip with Toronto. Players play with very little heart these days, and someone said it best. Regular season has turned into a glorified preseason. What bothers me most is that the league and players know that ticket prices are outrageous, and it doesn’t bother them one bit that many fans may spend money they don’t really have to take their kids to a game, and the stars may or may not even suit up. Jist sit on the court laughing and having a good time like they’re at a cookout. Teams blow 25 point leads on a nightly bases. Could go on and on about issues.

They really need to consider cutting the season to 72 games. This 82 games are a joke. Regular season means nothing. All you have to do is get into the top 10 teams and make the playoffs. What a joke. And the fact you don't have to show your lineup till almost game time is ridiculous.

NBA is pretty bad, no one plays defense is the worst thing about it. The players also make too much money so there's no effort to care about anything. I mean does it really matter if you get a ring if your getting paid millions and millions plus endorsements etc etc.

Last good overall Finals imo was Celtics vs Lakers in 2010. There were some half-entertaining Finals since then but doesn't compare to 1980s/90's or even early 2000's. Started going downhill when they coddled LeBaby.
Sip on that plus money honey!

This is true... particularly in the way the traveling rules changed. That was the worst thing that ever happened to the NBA.

It's terrible. I rarely watch until the playoffs start. The league started changing in the mid 2000's with the Steve Nash Sun's. I also think fantasy sports and online gambling is part of the reason for the change in rules geared towards more points. More points = more fantasy interest and viewership. Also these players today are way overpaid and many have lost the love for the game. The defensive effort is awful comparing the NBA to a NCAAB game.
