over the last 3 years, Celts have been a dog of (+5) or more only 15 times....... they won 9 of those, straight up, and covered 10 out of 15......

This team isn't the team of the last 3 years.  They're old and slow and heartless.  On the road at Cleveland they should absolutely be given 7 points.  25-37-2 ATS this year. 

It doesn't matter what I think or what you think about the C's.  They are not the same team as they were and that can not be disputed

At this point I would take the Nets -7 over the Celts.

first of all, that can quite easily be disputed...... but second of all, that is a moot point...... they don't have to be the same team as the past two years for this line to be wrong......

but reality is, they are a team that turns it on when they want to this year, because all they care about is the playoffs....... a whole lot of people are going to get raked over the coals trying to fade Boston as a dog in the playoffs...... and if Boston plays Cleveland in the playoffs, it is going to be some of the most amazing value you will ever see.......

they are 3-2 SU this season as a dog....... i didn't take stats from 2 years ago...... i took stats from every game since KG and Ray Allen arrived in Boston...... i would say that is fairly relevant......

3-2 SU as a dog isn't a fantastic record?  that is exactly the same % as the 9-6 SU as a dog over 3 years....... what sample size can i use?

the point is, the Celts have only been a 7 point dog 1 time in the last 3 years (and it wasn't this year)....... so for anyone to say "That's the dumbest thing i've ever read" when i say they shouldn't be given 7 points by anyone, is possibly the dumbest thing i've ever read!

afterall, these are people who spend all day on a site where people say some completely ridiculous shit...... like you shouldn't date black women because they all have herpes, and shit like that.......

well, i definitely do follow these kinds of trends, and i'm not someone who follows trends...... winning 60% of your games SU as a dog over a 3 year period is, flat out, as FANTASTIC as it gets...... in ANY sport, by ANY team....... trust me!

i do take injuries and health and everything (absolutely everything) into consideration....... you guys are sleeping on this Celtics team, big time...... i'm not talking about this game as much as the playoffs, because people will carry this same thinking into the playoffs......

last year, this Celts team took Orlando to a 7th game, without KG, and without a team that is much deeper this year....... Doc intentionally underplayed all of his starters this year, and they quite simply don't give a shit about the regular season....... but believe me, if they play the Cavs, the Cavs are going home...... no team that is as limited and without depth as the Cavs can beat a team that is as versatile and deep as the Celts in an NBA 7-game series......
