I would disagree in saying Thon Maker only played well once at home. In each game he had 5 blocks and I believe he altered many shots and provided a presence in the lane not unlike Rudy Gobert. I believe Quinn Snyder told Gobert to not just worry about blocks, but also try to alter the opponents shots. I think that's where Thon thrives, as he initiates the fast break with his defense. Not to mention he's able to stroke 3's so Baynes has to step out of his comfort zone and guard him.
