I'm already going through withdrawals just knowing that this series will end today. It's funny, though. I'm a lifelong Knicks fan who grew up absolutely hating the Bulls. Now I find myself rooting hard as hell for these guys.
Ok. So Game 7 is an entirely different animal. The Bulls have shown no fear in Boston all series. I do believe tonight is a bigger unknown though. Chicago has just as much to lose at this point. They've played the series of their life, and have battled like hell to get to this point. A moral victory is not going to cut it! Can they handle the pressure?
We all remember the beatdown that Boston put on Atlanta last year, but the Hawks hadn't shown an ability to compete IN Boston the entire series. You can argue that the Celtics can draw some confidence from that performance, but you can also argue that they may have a false sense of security because of that game. They also don't have the leadership of Kevin Garnett tonight, and they are the OLDER team, and the more likely of the two to show signs of wearing down.
The total was moved down to 196 despite a constant of Overs in this series, which is perfectly understandable. This is Game 7, and there will be an absolute premium on getting good shots every possession. The defensive intensity will also be through the roof. O.T. is a definate concern, but I think this game will definately be played at an Under pace, and I believe it's the BEST play of the night.
Other than the Under, I have to go with what I've seen in this series. That's nothing but extremely competitive games that are coming down to the wire. Although I think this is Boston's best chance to cover, because the Bulls will foul to the death if they can't come up with any late game heroics, I have to take the points. Once again, I hope Del Negro plays more Hinrich, and less Gordon.
I haven't decided exactly how I'm going to approach this game, but I will most likely have most of my money on the Under, with less on the Bulls, and a small shot on the ML.
BULLS/CELTICS Under 196
BULLS +7 (-120)
BULLS ML
Good Luck Today!!!

I really believe the difference in this game is the bench for Boston. They haven't been able to get anything from them. Mikki Moore is utterly useless. Marbury is too scared to pull the trigger, and is chucking up airballs when he does. House hasn't been able to hit any 3's. I'm definately hoping Boston gets in foul trouble. They were much deeper with Posey & Davis coming off the bench last year.

dude i totally no where your coming from. I totally have despised the Miami Heat forever but like there new team and have been rooting for them against Atlanta.
Tastes change. Teams change.
Some teams are hard to root for but then they change the team and system and they are hard not to enjoy.
I hated the knicks the last 10-15 years. Nets fan.
But i like them a little now. More exciting with D'Antoni and there players and it will be sick if they get lebron bosh wade stoudamire.
Any combo of those 2
