Loving the Heat play tonight. Wonder if the pinched nerve in Bosh's neck has healed. Lebron and Bosh scored a combined 21pts - uncharacteristic for sure. That should change tonight.

I know Rondo will most likely play tonight, but I truly don't think he'll be as effective with his elbow injury. Miami is a better team and I expect them to come out with a road victory in this one against an older and banged-up Celtics squad.

Maybe that 4 day layoff helped the C's (43% shooting in gm1 & gm 2 up to 50% gm 3.) Now a quick turnaround on 1 day of rest and all that swelling for the old folk to deal with. If the C's regress a little and the Heat (47% shooting gm1, 45% gm2, 42% gm3)improve a little (which I think is likely) I think we have a Mia "W" I'm with ya on the Heat.

As a doc, to be honest I am surprised Rondo is even playing. Now, let me say, I did not examine him and I have no idea truly how he is feeling today. BUT I CAN SAY FOR MOST PEOPLE WITH THIS INJURY HE WILL BE QUITE SORE. I will imagine he will have limited use of the arm and will even more importantly be hesistant to use it.  This is a serious injury and will not even be close to healing 100% tonight.

In the last game, he was obviously favoring it and did not want to use it. I felt that the Heat were giving him a pass as the game was out of reach and it was obviously a significant injury. You will not see that today. They will lay all over the right hand and make him use the left. Just as important, he will have trouble stopping guards going to their right (his left) dominate side.

I am going to play the injury first half under total, on all Rondo bets and then smaller to the game. I really expect him to have a bad game and to me, he is the motor that makes this engine run.

I do like the point he is at high risk of another dislocation.  It will be hard to go 70% with these thoughts going through your mind.

Agree.  I didn't have time for a long write-up but Celtics have used up a lot of energy.  KG is very unlikely to have a repeat of game 3 performance.  Without an effective Rondo, that puts a lot more pressure on Allen and Pierce.  Miami will come out and play very aggressively tonight.  I see a comfortable Heat win in this one

Guess this makes for a low scoring game,eh? No effective assists and with Shaq getting minutes the pace is slowed considerably!

This is a very sharp line.  Obviously everyone 'wants' to play Okie City in this one.  Heck, they were leading by 13 in the 4th quarter in game 3 and seemed to have that one in total control.  Then the improbable happened and the Grizz came back to win that one in OT.  How will Okie city respond?  The public is playing the 'zig-zag' here but I just think it's really hard to go against the Grizz at home right now. Remember, Memphis is 5-2 against Okie City this year.  5-2!!!  Do you really want to bet against that record on Grizzlies' home-court?  The 'sharp' play is Memphis to me.  Hmmm...I beginning to 'talk' myself into a play here, but best go with my initial instinct, which was a 'PASS'...GL

Yeah absolutely.  Part of the reason why I backed the Celtics in game 3 was b/c of 4 days of rest.  They spent a lot of energy and emotion in that game.  How will they play today with one-armed Rondo running the point? I think Boston will regress a bit in this one and Miami will perform closer to their average.

Only problem: the "big star injury"angle.  Team mates may step up BIG for BOS. Hopefully, they are too old...

Rondo hasnt exactly had a great series anyway and has been turning over the ball quite a bit. Hes not exactly a shooter. Being hurt could possibly help tonight if West plays more minutes. West has been playing very well. The celtics are also very good at home and are proven winners. I am going with the Celtics tonight.
