Bodio, good luck buddy but I cant back you on this one.  Main reason I'm taking Celts is because of Doc.  He knows how to handle the Heat.  Plus, Celts being home helps big. I think the whole Rondo arm thing has helped the Celts mentally. Rondo showed heart and his teammates will feed off that.  If the Celts do what Doc says 2nite they will win.  Spolstra(spelling) sux, he cant outcoach Doc.  good luck.......but........Go Celts!

I think you all are seriously over looking the mental impact the celtics victory has had on the heat... The C's may or may not be the play, but they didnt beat the heat last game .. they SHIT STOMPED them and These old men are going to play like its senior night in college.. this could be their last game in the garden and I am a season ticket holder in boston so let me tell you from experience that they will come out like mad men. expect a good game out of big baby.

bodio what you thinking for this second game.. I kinda like The thunder just on basketball alone.. no analysis involved, but the closer I look I seem to see more and more reasons to hop on the grizz train.

bodio you mentioned before why u think grizzlies should beat thunder with that 5-2 record against them (and thats completely understandable) but arent lebron and wade like 1-8 at the garden over the last 2 years? but yet you think heat will win this comfortably. why does the girzzlies past record have more strength than bostons!?! when clearly BOSTON are by far the more proven team? i just cant see heat winning at the garden, RONDO 100% or not. i know he went down in the third and kg shot the lights out. but rondo only had 6pts 11ass in game3 and they cruised for a 16pt win.
hey im not saying that this is in the bag boston- i was just wondering why lebron/wade struggling at the garden didnt phase you??

and miami have actually lost 11 consecutive in boston??? i know only three of them was with james- but why does this stat seem to mean nothing?

That game had me on the edge of my seat. What a good finish by the heat in OT. Rondo sitting out at the end was a big difference. His one arm was money for a while but he missed a huge layup at the end and then couldnt play when the game was on the line thus, NO BAby you can not play point with one arm in a key game.

unfortunately for me!! boston didnt have legs for OT. really wanted a 2-2 series!! (mainly cause i have money on boston for series )

You're not comparing apples to apples here.  The fact that Miami is 1-8 or 1-11 against the Celts in Boston is irrelevant.  The fact that Wade without Bosh and James, AND James with Cleveland without Wade and Bost, are 1-8 or whatever is irrelevant.  You have to look at this year's team!  Sure Boston was 3-1 in the regular season against the Heat.  But a couple of those games were early in the season when Miami were still adjusting to one another.  Last game of the season as well as the playoffs proved to me that Miami is a better team right now. As to Okie City and Memphis, Grizz were 5-2 against them this year:  3-1 in the reg season and 2-1 in the playoffs.  In addition, watching those games, I could tell that these teams are much more evenly matched than Boston/Miami.  I know this is a bit after-the-fact but you can't always look at historical data without analyzing the more 'current' (which are more relevant) trends.  GL!

why does it mean anything?  All the Miami games against Boston outside of this year's are irrelevant!

Bingo..If the refs had called that 'traveling' violation on Pierce at the end of regulation, that one would not have gone to OT (by the way, watch the replay and count how many steps Pierce took.  If you still don't believe me, remember he's right handed...Which leg do right-handed players use to jump off?  Now watch which one he used...)

Sure the game was a bit closer than we normally like, but this is the playoffs and most games will be close.  It's the younger, better players in the end of these that make the difference..

nice job today buddy...too bad you didn't play Thunder also. I was yelling at my TV when they didn't call traveling on Pierce's tying bucket..at least they won in OT

yeah I guess. I just figured that one was going to be way too close (it did go to 3 OT's).  I guess Miami game was closer than i expected also..Thank god someone else noticed that it was a 'travel' besides me.  The guy takes 3 long steps and jumps off his 'right' leg.  It was pretty obvious....
