"Sharps will bet warriors at that discount price. "
Not sure many intelligent bettors aka 'sharps' are going to bet any series price at -300
my mistake if i didnt make it clear, sharps will be on GS at the opening series price line. Bodog had it at -200 and I jumped on that and its -240 last time i checked.

Warriors have all of a sudden transformed into the 96 Bulls. Must have missed that memo.
Gs doesnt need to be the 96 bulls to beat this cavs team... They only need to be the 2015 Warriors. This Cavs team is the worst team LBJ has ever gone to the finals with, and definitely one of the worst teams to make the finals in the past 15 years.

An eaier poster nailed it in my opinion. Vegas does not set the line based on how they see the series playing out. They base it on how they see the betting public with "play" the series out.
My guess is that they know LBJ is going to draw a lot of public betting action on the cavs. Therefore they set the line accordingly.
Not a hard concept guys!!!

The Rockets were great this year are we going to discredit them? What makes the Cavs so great? They beat up on a the weak East, yes I said it the Rockets are a better team. You don't think the Rockets wouldn't dominate the East?

In every sport there are teams that the public love and I can only assume that is factored into the decision on the line.
As an example I would love (although not enough to look it up) to see what the ATS record was for the cowboys during the last decade when they were nothing more than an average football team.

The Warriors are a better team than the Cavs but the Rockets?? Thats hilarious. I honestly think there's 3 other west teams better than Houston too... SA, LAC, & Mem. Lucky for them CP3 comes up short in big spots and gave them that series.

Cavs, Hawks and most likely Wiz beat Rockets if everyone is healthy. Rockets are trash, Harden and then what? He might be the best player ever at getting to the line and can score at will on nights but what they have after that?

The Rockets had a better regular season record and were 2nd in the standings in the West so yes I do consider them better. Many people may disagree but I don't care that is just how I feel. If you like the CAvs go ahead and bet them that is fine but don't go around judging peoples opinions because they differ from you. I don't think you have any room to talk after asking a guy if he was 9 years old because he believe in God. Just because you are an atheist who doesn't believe doesn't mean you should treat others with disrespect. Do whatever you like but honestly you come off as a rude know it all gambler degen type that I see all to common.
thank you 4 repeating exactly wat i just wrote...thats correct, they are "regular season bully boys",you know as well as i do that the season changes once post season rolls around...game slows down, rebounding and defense are at a premium and the biggest stars shine and dominate even more...and,to my surprise, the cavs have risen in all those regards and are comfortably better than the rockets.its not all that controversial a view, most wud agree i assure you.....its not that i "like" the cavs or will bet them,im just saying wat im observing and that is that the odds are very juicy given that folks are waaay over-valueing the warriors and waaay under-estimating cleveland(primarily based on the fact they play in a shiiity conference which makes little sense at all.if theyre good theyre good,it matters not how weak the previous opponents were.....we shall find out just how good they are in due course.)
and yea thats right, anytime sumone suggests the existence of an imaginary, invisible, magic man in the sky that made everything and knows everything im just gonna go ahead and assume that theyre either 9 years old or have a veeeerrry fertile imagination......makes sense,right??....wat else am i to assume??........ive asked many, many, many religious people both in real life and on forums if they have any evidence watsoever to support the belief in the existence of an omnipotent creator and thus far i have yet to get one single rational, reasonable, logical answer....they just spout the usual rubbish..."ooh,ya just gotta have faith".....huh???wtf??
so its not disrespectful at all,its just normal everyday common sense.....is it disrespectful for you to laugh at or disregard a childs belief in fairies or santa clause??.....no,because you know better and can see the difference between fact and fiction.
im not a know it all by any means watsoever..i find it as hard to win at this hobby as anyone else...just giving views and opinions,no different to anyone else.

I think you are new because you stated it would be "fairly easy" to beat the best player in the world. This reminds me of Miami vs OKC... OKC looked deeper/stronger but Miami's experience + LBJ were too much. I agee that GSW are rightly favourites, but I don't think their journey will be easy in any way
Revealing your idiocy. Just go away. You clearly don't understand basketball.

This looks so much like OKC/Miami idk what to do honestly. I hammered MIA then but Cleveland is a different monster. They have no experience outside of Lebron unlike D-Wade and the Miami team plus they were coming off a loss from Dallas, so they had an extra chip on their shoulders. I wouldnt count out Lebron tho, just wait til the close out game and hammer the winner. The winner of a close out game always win ATS also.

The Rockets are "regular season bully boys" who had the second best record in the western conference..... and lost in the conference finals to the team with the best record. And they played the playoffs without their starting point guard and power forward.
Once again, they played to the second best record in the western conference, and played to the second best finish in the western conference playoffs. Whatever they were in the regular season, they apparently were in the post season.

The Rockets are better then the Cavs I don't get how the Cavs are getting a worse series price. I agree this is a joke. I will be betting the Warriors every game ats series and for the series price.
Rockets better than the Cavs ?
Hope you're kidding on this or completely ignorant or don't understand the game.
Rockets may have been the #2 seed in the competitive west - but clearly they were not the #2 team had it for a few that flip flopped in the Western Standings.

wat they WERE in the post season was LUCKY......lucky the spurs didnt win their final game and lock up sum homecourt advantage, lucky they never faced the spurs or memphis, lucky that the clippers totally relaxed, then mentally and emotionally imploded as fatigue also set in for them and their painfully short rotation, lucky that the thunder were cursed one again by injury so one less team ahead of them in the pecking order, and lucky the warriors didnt show the killer instinct(and were "down" a man in curry too) to embarrass them with a sweep that wud have been a fair reflection of the gulf between the best in the west and the flaky rockets.
luck plays a role in every teams fortunes tho so i dont begrudge them any of it and i dont think they re a poor or average team by any means....with beverly and montejuinis they have a nice roster filled with decent talent...but i dont think theyre put together to go deep in the playoffs if things dont fall their way once again...west is stacked and theres just a few teams that are ahead of them for the time being...but with experience and a coach that isnt retarded i can see them progressing in coming years.

Plus 200 for LeBron in the Finals is still insane value -- he is going ot have the refs all series long and the Cavs should roll
I respectfully disagree Bob. I think Warriors win this series in 6 or 7 to be honest. The refs will be on the Cavs side but this Warriors team is the real deal and home court advantage is huge in this series. GL either way you go.

so james gets 35 every game. where are the rest of points coming from. 1 starter out and another not 100%. don't forget the east is garbage. BIG TIME GARBAGE. SF has a defense. ASK HARDEN. HE BROKE THE RECORD FOR TUROVERS. THATS DEFENSE

lol I've done really well betting sports for a very long time.. You know nothing about value. Don't compare an experienced Miami team with three hall of famers in their prime with title experience vs okc to this Cleveland squad. That right there gives you no credibility.
CAVS WIN
You messed up people's quotes...

Generally speaking, no one bets on big favorites. Especially against Lebron who's been the NBA Finals 5X straight. Public bettors are all over Cleveland. Here's the line movement on the series odds:
