If Garnett comes back healthy, then it's the Celtics by a very slim margin over the Heat just because of the depth. However, the Heat are starting to gel and given more time, they can be better than the Celtics even with a healthy Garnett. The Heat has already lost 2 games to the Celtics, they'll have Feb 13th circled on the calendar. This will be another benchmark of how the two teams stack against each other.

Ok first things first, how freaking long are you Celtic fanboys gonna moan about Kendrick fucking Perkins. I mean the guy is hardly or isn't better than Big baby, seriously to state that the Celtics can't beat LA because of an injured Perkins is laughable. Compare not having Perkins to not having Bynum, which loss is bigger do you think huh? Kendrick Perkins isn't a decisive factor, he would have been for a team like Miami with a limited bench especially regarding big men, but not for a great bench like Boston has.
The key last year was Ray Allen underperforming in that finals ,I mean I'm a Lakers fan and must admit that Boston held Kobe limited which is all you can do and controlled the tempo very well. If Allen contributed more it was the Celtics championship I'm sure, but to state that that Perkins loss caused it is a hurtful comment to an LA team that did manage to make the clutch plays.
About this year I think a lot of people here are giving the Heat too little credit. Yes they have a problem in size, they are too soft down there, but Lebron James and Dwayne Wade are twice as athletic as Pierce and Allen, when their driving game is on, there is no stopping that, not even by Garnett/Shaq. Key however will be how the Heat stop Rondo, it ain't gonna work with Arroyo, Chalmers however should be able to limit Rondo with the help of some rotation D that the heat play very well. The Heat bench is deeper than I think ppl give them credit for, Miller/Jones are 2 very very good backups, Arroyo is decent offensively and Dampier/Joel Anthony are defensively ok as well. I'm offcourse not gonna argue with you that there are better benches, or not even that Boston wouldn't be able to beat the Heat, but not as easily as everybody here seems to believe.
About Orlando I can be short, NOOOOOOOOOOO WAY. That trade isn't even close to what they need to beat a half decent team, they just got one streaky good player (Richardson) and one streaky crappy player (Arenas) to switch for decent role players. Fact is Orlando has worse coaching than the other top teams and not a winning mentality, Howard is great, but not unstoppable.
My prediction: Boston in 7 past Miami and in 6 past LA, hope though LA takes it, or even Miami cause I really HATE Boston.
