Clippers @ Lakers

Lakers won by 38 about a week ago, now they get their actual home crowd on their side for this game. Clippers shot 38% I dont see them doing that again, so I expect this game to go over. Lakers at -15 tho
 
I'll wait to see what the side does tomorrow, might take Lakers 1st half instead of game. My lean is on the over 193 right now.
 
Whats everyone else's thoughts?

but isnt camby and davis healthy or back ?

Laker,
I would wait and see how the first half goes..If the lakers struggle it will be early because they don't respect their oppents and are looking past them(which will be easy to do because they are the clippers) and make the adjustments at half time...I think the lakers will struggle early tomorrow and overcome a first half deficit to win. Similar to what Jazz did to Clippers the other day...

Clips shot pretty well from 3 pt land in last, hittting at least 6 from there, and held the Jazz to 0-9
 
Lakers leave people open out there--evident all yr, and their achilles heal.
 
Lakers obviously premier team.
 
Clips can cover, but we saw them drift away in mediocrity the other night. Wonder if they fixed anything.

Already on Clips +15 for 3 units...I think this team can match up well to the Lakers with their size and B. Diddy at the point.
 
Kaman and Camby can hold down Bynum and Gasol
Thornton vs. Rad (give the edge to Al)
Pesky Mobley vs. Kobe
B. Diddy vs Fish (both stocky guys)
 
And on Clips bench you'll get Tim Thomas and backup Taylor? Nobody else is worth mentioning. So Lakers bench definitely has the upper hand here.
 
No input on the Over though as the line looks to be rela close
 
Good luck Lakers....FYI you may get value on Lakers 2nd half (just a hunch)

I guess I'd say he's worth about 5 points since the line tonight is +15 and the line last week without him was +10.

Oh MrBator...I know after a good night's rest and right before tipoff a light bulb will trigger in your head and you'll also be on the same side as me. I wonder if my book will have the Clips ML as I'll lay half a unit on it just for giggles. I might even start a Lakers-Clips in game tomorrow night on Covers. Care to join?? I'll call it "MrBator Clipper Hater In-Game"

You know, sometimes that does happen, where I'll be a squareball in the middle of the night, but by the next day I'm backing the same pitiful team I was trashing on Covers the night before.  But, it just ain't gonna happen this time with these sorry Clippers.

both team have no chemistry.. they get some young talent that just doesn't fit their teams..they  struggle with a no talent team and all the old players are just cashing in their cheques.. they both have the worst presidents and upper management.. the lions won't make the playoffs untill 2011

They both cant hold leads and are atrocious.  You might as well put your money in the stock market right now you have a better chance at getting something in return

I laid the 15 points and, in addition to that, I also took the Lakers in a 2 team 4 point teaser with BOS -9.  The line has since moved to 14 on sportsbook and I might just put more money on it.

For the teaser, I usually don't like to lay points on a team with no rest on back-to-back road games (BOS)... but OKC really blows, OKC is not far from HOU, and 5 points is reasonable to ask BOS to cover on back to back road games..

As far as the Clippers, Davis and Camby played in their last game.  Both came off the bench and Davis played 34 minutes (I believe).  The Clippers are terrible right now and I will continue to fade them until they prove me wrong. C'mon, man, it's the Clippers!

I haven't missed this season... but I've only bet 3 times on the NBA so far.  I'm still too busy capping NFL games.
