Rain or Shine Elasto Painters vs Barako Bull Energy Cola +6.0 175.5 This one's really tricky. Barako Bulls is on a 4-game skid and in the PBA at time, teams break the streak after it's at 4. The better teams don't usually go past 3 but it happens. Rain or Shine is looking to arrest a 2 game slide, 1 less of the average. Anyway, everyone know that Rain or Shine is a jump shooting team that moves the ball really well. They are the best team to space out the floor and have the depth to keep at it for majority of the minutes. Barako is somewhat a step down version of Rain or Shine but they have better players at the post. They can run with RoS and can make them work on defense but the problem is that they aren't designed to play well against well spaced team who can shoot from anywhere. I see this game going back and forth with Rain or Shine closing in on their bad shooting.
Play on Barako Bulls +6.0 because they are one fiesty team who can keep it close if their shots are falling. Slight lean on the OVER if it really did turn into a scorefest.
San Mig Coffee Mixers vs Air21 Express +5.5 167.5 Air21 is looking to extend their streak to 3rd while San Mig Coffee looks to get back on track after a scrappy win against their sister team. You can refer to my last writeup about the Express on how close they are in their games. San Mig Coffee will be without 6-7 Joe DeVance but they still have the size to try and stop Air21's Dunigan. This will most likely be a battle between both imports and whoever wins that battle gets the game. Tim Cone has somewhat been changing Yap's game and it has affected him since last conference. I think it has something to do with him adjusting to getting lesser looks on offense. Air21 is consistent in their plays and is a better choice with this much points. I think we'll see them at 4 or 4.5 come game time. The play here is on the Air21 +5.5.
