Magic had a field day against the Cavs and has rested their starters almost looking forward to play a new team. Orlando is playing 3 games in 4 nights. They are 4-8 ATS on back to back games and is only 9-14-1 ATS on the road. The key here is that since the trade they are only 2-5 SU/ATS on the road against teams with a winning home record be it SU/ATS.

really like this play too but I can't see anyone being able to defend Howard

U and phat03 are on Memphis, but i dont see why. Ok on paper the legit play would be memphis+ but, without a bench to rest their starters, wont they gas?

i have never seen how b2b has any affect on the games...it is what they get paid to do and they do it everyday...they used to even play 2 and 3 games in one day.

They won't gas out. Rested and still have a day before playing in Minnesota. Grizzlies have a very decent size that can matchup with the Magic. The shorter rotation allows for the young players to stay longer in the game. Rotating with only Arthur and Allen off the bench looks better than with OJ in the mix. Both player supplies the team with intangibles in defense and both always getting a good look in offense.

Interesting enough, Dwight only averages 16.2ppg and 11.2rpg in his last 5 games against Memphis (fairly good sample with Marc Gasol as the defender) which is a couple of points below his average this season. Memphis' Gasol on one hand averaged 14.4ppg in the last 5 against Dwight which is 3 points better than his average.

If you can't score some of the game's replay check the box scores at the very least and see how their production drops. I know they're paid to do what they do and they are athletes who get better in medical, scientific or whatever crap the sporting field can give them to perform better but they're still human, man. A lot of room for error and it's almost impossible to sustain a decent performance on tired/fatigue legs.

A perfect example would be the Phoenix Suns in their most recent road trip. If you still don't buy it then I can't convince you any longer. Goodluck.

i love the fact that JJ Redick and Hedo will be up against Tony Allen and Rudy Gay. im worried a bit with Ryan Anderson though since Zach randolph doesnt really step out on defense a lot. orlando, although being the better team the past few years, have yet to sweep memphis in a season series.

Great play in my opinion.  Love the Grizz tonight.
