I feel like we are all being played like a fiddle

I feel the Heat will be flat coming to game 1. Short rest then playing at mile high city off a grueling 7 game series should be tough.

Heat are winning with a bunch of hungry scrubs

I'm thinking about that altitude, too.  Miami is 3-0 on the road in game 1s, but coming off Game 7, and having to play at altitude... they're gonna need some bench production to stay in this one.

True, but going from 0 feet above sea level to 1 mile above sea level is gonna be a problem. Takes time to get acclimated. Game 1 is when it will have the biggest impact.

It's a lotta points.  I recall you saying don't overbet early on.  I tell myself that.  The money's in latter games.  But I'm a fan too.  I'm going with the rusty factor.  And this is for all the marbles.   Let's ask Milwaukee, New York and Boston who their picking in game one.  Mad respect for CMM.  Look forward to game one.  We know Caleb Martin will show up.  But Denver is tough.

Again no respect for Miami lol  If it wasn't for Miami I be in the hole during the playoffs,this team is on a mission!!

 Denver is good but eveyone trying to make them out to be 2014 Spurs or 2017 Warriors.

who did they play? Timberwolves - joke, Suns with cp3 and AYTON hurt and washed up KD. Booker basically took 2 games by himself from them. Lakers were in every game til the very end and if those Joker fade away 1 legged threes didn’t go in… 

Denver is 12-4 with 2+ days rest this season.  They are undefeated at home and Joker playing with 2+ days rest. 

Since they vanquished the almighty Lebron, media and the public still haven't given them their flowers and they still feel disrespected.  Now all the talk is about the gritty Heat and their "culture".

Under the circumstances, this will be more like chomping at the bit rather than rust we see in Game 1.

Thing is, SPO knows better...

Denvers offense is one where YOU CANNOT PLAY ZONE for an extended period against..

They are just tooooooo good...

Ball distribution....shot selection...etc..etc.. 

Jokic will provide HUGE MATCHUP ISSUES for whoever guards him...

Butler is best defender but its 100% guaranteed....hell run into foul trouble guarding this beast.

Looking forward to this series...

Caleb shouldve been the mvp. I think i saw something went viral with miami directly flying to Colorado right away after G7. They are all in. I have a little on the Heat for the series (3.80) and I think they can play these Nuggets team better than LA. For G1 I just feel Heat will come out flat. Goodluck!

i think he meant that the heat wont be as “tired” because the zone were effective on boston. But thing here is the build up. Whether G7 was a stomp or a close game, players will feel the fatigue playing every other day at such a high level with a lot on the line.

Miami will never Zone against Denver because of Jokic. He’ll just destroy them. What they have to guard is Denver’s 2 man game with Murray and Jokic. The pick and roll game between game are soo good against the Lakers and has generated so much offense.

Butler is good on D but i doubt he’ll get into foul trouble. I’m more worried about Bam. Butler will most likely be on MPJ and i’m guessing Struss or Martin will be on Murray.

Heat 0-2 in the two meetings this year vs. Nuggets both games Heat were in the game until the end lost by 4, and then lost by 5. Now the playoffs both teams are hungry I don't think this will be a blow out IMO with the Heat's confidence level.  Caleb didn't even play in one and also his level of play in the playoffs has been the difference.  I think it will be a dogfight, no blowouts in the entire series I am thinking but who knows?
