Again, let's set basic rules to our little league so we can have a good clean run at this. BTW, I combined NCAA/PBA record.
  • Post your own lines.
  • Post should be made before tip-off.
  • I will make the official tally and post it daily so you guys can refer to it.

air+7 vs smb

just fade barako vs the best teams of the league... barako IS THE WORST team... they wont be able to score or to stop teams from scoring... i believe they will win 2 games at most... look at their team and you wont see anyone  aside from juntilla and duncil who can score. they also dont have any big men to play good defense...

air+7.. smb can easily blow teams out but i think a line up that consists of arboleda buenafe guevarra baclao rabeh mattias sharma can compete...  as long as guiao gives his rookies playing time, they can compete.

and
San Miguel Beermen -7.5 vs Air21 Express+7.5

Thinking of taking Barako and Air21... What do you guys think?

Well first i thought that the new players of alaska will have a hard time playing in the triangle offense. We all know that barako sucks but i think they will not lose by double digits

initial leans for today.

NCAA: SSC. i am taking them with a line equal or higher to -6.5. Pascual being back will get these boys on the hill to face the lions. With the recent meeting and latest win of JRU, i expect the public to back the Bombers. I am thinking a consensus of 60-40 here. With that, i will take the Stags to win by DD. I dare say that this game may be over by halftime (yeah right!!!).   

PBA Game#1: Barako with a line of +8 to +9.5. i highly suspect the the public to pound Alaska to get this kind of line movement. Alaska should come in overly confident and may even underestimate the lowly Barakos. I doubt the latter has enough to get a WIN here though.

PBA Game#2: AIR21 with a line of +7 or more. The disparity of talent here is amazing. Old tried and tested versus young blood with nothing to lose. i expect the newbies of Air to bring in a good game unless they get into foul trouble early (which is highly likely). The only real factor here is SMB and their killer instincts. This is highly suspect this early in the season.

 

Just some initial leans and thoughts. flawed as these may be, these are my sentiments as of the moment.
