I like this play as Cha is 10-4 ATS ( 6 SU win as dog ) when playing on the front end of B2B.

Tootskie, I contemplated Atlanta as bulls are in a tough spot but I just don't trust ATL on the road enough to make them a play

The Mavs play the Heat next Tuesday the 18th after the All Star break.    Kind of far fetched to think they are looking ahead to that one.

Far fetched how? Miami is 2 time defending champs and the Pacers are #1 in the east right now, doesn't matter the date; those are 2 big games on deck.

I just don't think the Mavs are sitting around thinking about a game with Miami a week from now with the All Star break in between.    



They have two games to the break it's possible they are thinking this way, 

 "OK we've got a tough back to back tommorrow against the Pacers, we don't want to go 0-2 heading in to the break so let's do all we can to get this one tonight against Charlotte."

Greyhound- no disrespect but why would a team pride themselves in whooping on a team that was the worst in the league last year over trying to beat a team that will actually make them the "contender" they aspire to be?

You can disrespect me, I disrespect a lot of people and to be honest I'm not that good at the NBA. 

But I'm not buying the look ahead to the Heat a week from now.  So that leaves the Pacers.  Is that game going to cause a letdown tonight against Charlotte?     The Pacer game isn't on National TV is it?    Do the Mavs want to prove something against Indiana?     Maybe, maybe not.    Gonna be tough on a back to back either way with the Pacers waiting at home for them.
