Rockets/Blazers U215 looks very enticing. The whole world thinks this game is gonna go over. I think the Blazers slow it down a bit and Houston will be a little more focused....

How exactly are they gonna slow the Houston offense? The only way to beat Rockets is to try and play D but mostly on the offensive end to exploit their D. With that said, I still think this is a toss up

I can't see how you think you are in a better spot given this line dropped 2 full points from a very crucial 9.5 where you could buy a hook up to a key number like 10 and now have to stomach 7.5.

That would have me very concerned if I wanted to take the Mavs and needed the spread as insurance. Every single point is crucial if you don't have the Mavs capped as winning outright.


The Mavs have a very good chance of winning SU tonight, i have the Mavs ML in a few parlays myself

I'm buying out of the team total play and adding that unit to the Mavs. Placing 1 unit on the Spurs team Total Over 103.5 to cancel the bet (will pay the juice). And adding one unit on the Mavs.

Final Card:

  • Mavericks +8 (4x)

Sorry guys, I see the Mavs playing the Spurs really tight here, but I don't want to only win 2 units if it decides to be a fast paced game yet the Mavs still cover which is my real strong lean here.

So let me get this straight. The Spurs work their butts off all year to get home court advantage. Then they nearly lose it in the first game of the first round and you don't think they will be bringing their best, and I mean their best, tonight? Or are you saying their best will not be good enough against Dallas' best? I simply don't get it. The Spurs will have as much if not more motivation than Dallas tonight. Or do you not see that angle at all?

Dallas can possibly win SU tongiht.... I'm hitting this ML for sure. This team is too good and possess some match up problems. 

Portland played the game of their lives with Aldrige going for almost 50 points and Lilliard going for 30..... and yet they still only won by 2 points. Rockets should bounce back here IMO and cover here easily.

There best won't be good enough, they've waited all year for the playoffs, and they laid an egg in game 1. Or did they? Maybe Dallas just knows how to play them now after losing to them 4 straight in the regular season? Carlilse is so underrated it's not even funny. The Spurs crush so many teams and win 60+ games every year because of the coaching discrepency between Papavich and other coaches and there system. I'll tell you right now there isn't much of a coaching discrepency in this series. I feel safe with my Dallas bet. Carlilse losing by more than 8 in 1 playoff game out of the last 25 playoff games is no fluke. There is a reason.

I don't think you can compare the heat and spurs head coaches. Pop is much superior.

Here's why I think the spurs dominate tonight. Coaching is also my reasoning.

Who is the king at resting his
Players? Pop is. He wants that sweep. He is also mad because their team was losing for 3 and a half quarters of game one, while not showing how superior his team is to Dallas. Pop reminds us who the spurs are tonight.

Gl to you, sir. But pop will outcoach any coach in this league, IMO.

LC, what an astute post Yes, Carlisle is THE REASON Mavs have ANY chance to take down MIGHTY Spurs tonight. and OMG seeries........... He is a GREAT Coach and I am so glad Cuban was smart enough to go out and get him

Personally, when SA goes on some of these runs he needs to call timeout which he does, but he must ADJUST and change his lineup.....he has so many different pieces to insert cuz that is where Mavs are faltering.... 

And for all those preaching POPOVICH.....who can ever forget Game 6 Finals when he not once, but twice. in last 29 seconds pull out one of the greatest Bigmen to ever play in the NBA, Tim Duncan....  He personally SCREWED so many SA supporters last Finals it's not even funny

Oh. BTW, this Mavs 14 point qtr looks semi solid so far
