We are living in an era where anything is possible...Magic could offer one of his car dealerships or other money making turnkey operations to these players off the books in order to sign them within the cap...

Thats exactly my point Dave, KD appeared to take a discount, but you and i are simply not ever going to be aware of whats discussed between player and owner when it comes to back door deals off the books...KD got all his money, its just not the traditional way.

Never forget that in all of this "Superteam " building that chemistry is important. Remember when the Mailman and The Glove joined Kobe and Shaq (and D-Fish and foxy, et al...) and got smoked in the Finals?

The Dubs are so friggin' organically grown that only injuries can stop them next year. Boogie is no dummy.

The mailman and GP were way past their primes..35+.....cousins is 27 years old....The Death lineup will be the primary lineup come crunch time in the playoffs. Having cousins play with the 2nd team is where you will see the most effect. Also teams cannot leave him wide open ala Looney & Bell who could not shoot.
