you just thanked my alias stalker... a guy who has made 100 or more aliases just since the Super Bowl, to call me out in one way or another...
Oh, he did raise an interesting point. If he does win his 5th championship, as well as making game winning and game tying shots, doesnt Fish deserve to be in the hall of fame?

moneyshot called it right rondo can score all he wants as long as we keep paul p, kg, ray allen in check rondo can not beat the lakers by himself so the lakers are not trying to stop him he will score, we just have to slow him down get him tired with fish brown farmar, lakers will win at home by more then 6..

i know that because hes on the lakers that he will never have great numbers ive already said that in my previous posts but im saying if he was drafted by a different team and was their number one guy i think he could have handled the load to put up some great numbers he could have been a much stronger brandon jennings type of guy that just takes a lot jumpers.
No way could Derek Fisher have ever been anything more than he is. A smart player who is a crucial cog in a teams machine, he was never gifted with amazing speed or athleticism, so he would never have been a star player or main option anywhere. He did however work harder than most, and is incredibly smart at the defensive game ( finding good angles, anticipating a players move).
As far as the game I have already said he would be better served on Allen. Almost all of Allen's offense comes off of rubs and screens, and Fish was very effective last series chasing Nash off of and through screens. Fish is strong enough to fight through a screen and contest most of his shots, and they are more evenly matched speed and strength wise( giving the edge to Fish on strength).
I'm thinking Phil is best served to let Kobe guard Rondo. Kobe will be able to exploit Rondo's weakest point which is his mental game. Kobe is great at getting in your head and throwing you off, and Rondo as great as he's played isn't ready to handle that part of the game yet. Kobe will get beaten off the ball quite a bit to be sure, so it's gonna be important for the bigs to help and disrupt plays on penetration.
To the guy who said Farmar should get most of the PT on Rondo, you are smoking crack sir. Farmar is a cancer and liability on defense the Lakers can't afford. He is better served playing limited minutes and throwing in a few timely 3's.

I thought Fisher did a great job on Nash who is a MVP 2 times in the NBA plus an all-star how many times! Fisher is older but he still is hard to play against because he is strong and physical.
