If Bulls win 2 games this series against Heat, how much blame does Rose get for not playing. He's worth a Game or 2 right?

In my opinion I think the reason he's not wanting to play is because the fear of high expectations , he probably feels deep down that he can never play at that same level again

Yea, I think that he feels that knee will never allow him to do what he used to do, Im sure he's brokenhearted because of that.

He's what 23 years old?  I think his knee will recover just fine considering these guys use the best surgeons in the world.  just don't think he is there yet.

Whether he plays or sits on the bench he gets paid the same, why on earth would he want to play??????????????  If I was locked into a long term contract id fake injure myself immediately and chill for the remainder of my contract.

I tore my ACL 2 months ago and I don't have the confidence to do very much yet.  I can see it being a mind thing just as much as it being a physical obstacle.

He was cleared months ago, I don't ever remember anything like this in sports from a supposed star. Does anyone remember a big time player just not playing after he was cleared? Shumpert would be cruisfied by the ny media and he is a developing role player.

if all of a sudden it's announced that Rose WILL play Friday night how much will that impact the line??? I live in Chicago and can tell you with a fair amount of certainty that Deng and Hinrich are done for the series. Deng has lost 15 lbs. and is very weak and Hinrich had another MRI.                     with regard to the line, i dont think his return would change it too much, maybe 2.5 points? It really would help the team from a psychological perspective, I would suspect even about 10 min would help with some much needed ball handling and depth. If he would return at all this season NOW would be the time, after watching your team lose by about 40 pts, might be enough to push him past his mental block of playing.

The team is decimated with injuries and their guys are playing 48 mins per game and WINNING too.  Noah has been hurt all year and you got Tiny Nate going all-out every game with serious passion. The team is incredibly tough.

then...

you got this little infant baby named Derek  Rose watching games from the stands. Guys like Noah might be supporting Rose in the media but behind the scenes I'd bet every cent I have that every one ofthose guys resents this little twat in a big way.

Rose is a gutless primadonna. End of story.

Good question.  Total guess probably 1 point.  So maybe the line drops to -6.  Probably not more than that.  Minutes would be limited and nobody knows how effective he'd be.
