Yet another tough loss on the over.  I had 210 

Missed free throws and sloppy play killed it.  Over should have hit easily

clips score 19 in 3rd Q, i also had the over, right play just crappy luck...next time Eric Lewis next time

I agree.  Over was the right play.  The whole first half we would have been thinking why did I bet the under?  Just a bad beat.

The over was not the right play. If it was, it would've hit.

By the time this thread was created it was a little too late to hop on the train.

The season is almost over. The follow should've been going on in January not the end of March.

It's called regression to the mean.

The over WAS the right play. Just an awful beat, Clippers scored only 5 pts in the first 7 minutes of the 3Q Could've easily go over.

Following a trend after the trend has already been established and been hitting at a high rate is usually never a good idea.  I can only say this from past experience and losing money this way.

As I mentioned in post #31 and explained in #41 - This ship has already sailed.  Whether you believe it or not, the teams that are playing don't really matter much imo.  This is all about numbers and a pure regression to the mean of a huge outlier.  Eric Lewis has gone 4-3 to the under L7 with a very close game just sneaking over in New Orleans on March 31.  If you had gotten in at halftime for the last 7 Eric Lewis games you would have been able to go 5-2 under 2H.

Eric Lewis was HIGHLY profitable betting the overs if you had gotten in around December, January, or even February.  It's never a good idea to try and outsmart mathematics, you will always lose.  

There's a ton of truth to the saying, "Know when to hold em, know when to fold em."

I kept telling people to stop putting ref's names out here. Notice a trend, keep it to yourself or you're only going to fudge up a good thing.

I agree, i have been playing these games for about 2.5 mos or so & have done very well, last year it was another ref, but not once did i post either of there names on any forum, come on people use your head, you think books don't read these forums, come on!! NUFF SAID!!

Come on guys really?  My thread is a peon compared to the billions of dollars exchanged with Vegas.  You honestly think Vegas reads my thread and buzzes down to Eric Lewis' ear piece and says, "Hey Eric, this guy bpcuno made a thread about you going over on all these games.  He's onto something.  You better start making these games go under!"

I know I am going to the extreme but you get my point.

Maybe I'll just start and Eric Lewis under train thread and see what happens and I'll bet the over anyways.  That'll trick em'.

I was on the under and the first half didn't even make me sweat.

I recently had a second half Thunder/Rockets under 103. They had a 68 point quarter only followed by a 29 point quarter. 

Maybe it was a bad beat, but nothing is over til it's over.
