Typically prefer to stay away from Washington considering that defense is a foreign concept to that bunch, but they've been playing decent at home lately (6-2 ATS) and I think it's a trend that can continue.  Dallas has been a covering maching on the road, but the injuries are going to be too much to overcome tonight.  Of course Doncic is still sidelined, but Curry is questionable to miss his 2nd game in a row.  Porzingis, whose been carrying the bulk of the load since Luka's injury, broke his nose on Wednesday against Memphis and is listed as questionable.  Even if he plays, how effective will he be with a freshly split beak?  The current number of 4.5 looks to be perfect.  Still will get majority of Dallas action and might even get steamed up once Porzingis is listed as a go.  I think the home dog barks in Washington and they snag an outright win.

I don't care that Philly is 22-2 at home this season, Memphis is white hot and shouldn't be catching that many points against a Sixers team that has some serious problems at the moment.  76'ers are on a B2B and there's always the possibility of a mental hangover after facing a team like Milwaukee, who I thought Philly was actually up for last night.  Memphis has won 13 of 16 and one of the more confident teams in the league at the moment.  If you've read my posts, you'll recall that I said the Morant/Brooks vs. Iggy backlash did nothing but further galvanize this team.  They rolled the Mavericks in Dallas on Wednesday and, in my opinion, have a chance to get a rare straight up victory tonight in Philly.  

Adding one more here with Oklahoma City -12

I was on them Wednesday against the Cavs where they were 11.5 point favorites and failed to cover.  I'll attribute that to a 4 game break and just not being up to play Cleveland.  I get that they're playing Detroit, a team they could easily sleepwalk through, and in a look-ahead spot with Boston coming to town on Sunday, but I've always been of the opinion that teams typically show up on their homecourt on Friday nights.  It's always the best crowd of the week and they're going to be inclined to give their fans a show.  OKC kept their team intact at the deadline, completely healthy for the first time in months, and should still have relatively fresh legs.  

Detroit traded Drummond, will be without D. Rose and possibly Markieff Morris -- how are they going to matchup here and where's the motivation to show up in this one?  The Thunder are in a great spot to win big tonight.

The only thing to note on the Philly/Memphis game is that Philly is winning at 75% on back to back games, and as you said they are 22-2 at home, plus home court always gets a slight bump in advantage. I won’t vote against you, I just my monitor this line. Obviously getting close to all-star break things get weird, and like you said Memphis is backed up catalytic converter and should be tailed until the fail. I tailed you on Knicks +3.5 and Knicks ML last night, so I’m at least with you on Dallas and OKC!

I havent's looked up the ATS numbers, but I'd guess it's around 3-5.  The majority of these wins came against mediocre to bad teams.  As hot as Memphis has been and with the issues PHI is currently dealing with, I just don't see how you could lay 7 points with them tonight, no matter what their home record is.  I am a Grizzlies fan however and could be a bit biased here.

Those are two great lines you have there. My book doesn't post all of the lines until around 10 am. I just had to take Memphis +5.5. Had been waiting all morning to bet it.

What are your thought on Blazers - Jazz game? I have been fading Jazz for 3 or 4 of there losses and I am not stopping tonight. I know the line is begging you to take Blazers but its the exact same situation as Wednesday when the Nuggets were catching big points and came through on the money line nevermind the spread.

There's no way that I'd play Portland/Utah.  The line is a head-scratcher after what happened Wednesday with the Jazz-Nuggets game.  Portland is on a b2b and got beat by 30 their last road game in Denver.  Utah is skidding hard but they're still 18-5 in Salt Lake City.  Gun to my head, I'm laying the points with Utah.  Really a weird line and it'd be much easier to comprehend at -5.5 or so.  Again, I wouldn't touch it.

Lines are available to me around 2-3AM.  The Grizzlies actually got up to -7.5 at one point but has been steamed down in a large way.  I'm also seeing WSH +2.5 at a lot of places.  Always good to get the best number possible.  Hopefully they hold hold up.  We actually have some snow in Memphis at the moment.  Pretty strange after one of the mildest winters I can recall.

I said in another thread that I thought the line should be closer to -5. Very strange indeed. Gonna stick to my guns and fade Jazz until they cover or win one atleast.

Where in Toronto? Come to 202 Spadina after 2.30 am on friday and saturday night clubbing.....great poker game that goes till sun comes up and sometimes into the afternoon depending on how many people stay. at the door say, eric told you about the game and you are there to play poker. its an after hours with 20 cover but no cover for poker players. lots of drunktards throwing away money...basiclaly every hand gets called till the river.

What about Phoenix? Looks like their begging you to take Houston with the short 2 point line. Hard to trust Phoenix when they are just so inconsistent 

I am afraid that my clubbing days are behind me now. I lived in the beaches for years but recently moved back to Durham. Sounds like a great game though.

Rui Hachimura and Mo Wagner both returned to the Wizards' lineup on Monday night and played well. Tonight, after three days of practice, I expect they'll play even better. Isaiah Thomas came up small during his 25 minutes in Monday's loss to the Warriors, but he's the Clippers' problem now.  I'm on the Wizards +155.

Grizzlies, oooof.  Embiid is out for the game - stranger things have happened

1-2 on the day.  No excuse for OKC not to have pulled away from this swiss cheese Detroit lineup.  Still at 66% over the last 50 but I feel the regression coming along.  I'll stick around until I'm down to 60% and call it quits.  It's been a fun run.
