My current NBA season is: 28W - 27L - 1P (+1.5 units). I was doing much better initially and have come back nearly to even. So I feel like starting something new now that I'm back to square one.
I'm going to switch up my betting unit system a little. Rather than a 1 - 5 betting unit scale, I'm going to bet 10% of my bankroll on every bet. I don't bet for a living like some, so I'm not really concerned about losing my bankroll if this proves to be a horrible system. I know the standard bankroll % bet when doing this is normally between 1 - 5% and not 10%, but again I'm going for a bit more of a home run and not a grind.
My picks will be ordered in terms of strength (1. 2. 3. etc) because starting with a $2000 bankroll that first bet will be $200 and the second would then be $180 and I'll want bigger of the two bets going on the one I like more.
I'll probably stop at $10,000 if I happen to get there (or $0 lol) and evaluate further.
So here goes...
Bankroll: $2,000
NBA 1. Utah +1.5 (-104): $200 pays $192
NHL 2. Dallas (+121): $180 pays $218 3. Buf/Ott Over 5 (-109): $162 pays $149

maybe $2000 to $3000 by april next year is a more realistic goal. I find its easier to win during regular season than preseason or playoff. so whatever you earn or lose by april 15th, stop there.

that's too ambitious.

Up $2000 to $3000 total? Or from original bankroll of $2,000 and getting to $3,000?
At 10% bankroll bets on a nightly basis it can build fast. I was just up 16 units on the NBA season a week ago and that was after one month (1-5 unit betting system, avg prob 2.5 plays per night with 2.5 unit bets). Maybe $7,500 would be a better goal. Either way shooting for $10K.
All bets will be NBA (my own picks) and NHL (fading a couple guys I know are historically bad).

Only way to get from $2k to $10k is to increase bet amounts and pick your spots. You will need to risk 25%-50% of bankroll and fire away on strong Bets. Also you will need to hit a parlay otherwise it will be a grind. Money management I'd you are decent and discipline will get you to $3-$4k max.
Mayweather bet 450000 on

That is what this system does. Betting 10% of bankroll every bet, not 10% of initial bankroll. So if I were lucky enough to get to say $8,000, my next bet would be $800.

I don't and didn't look at Consensus, but interesting none the less.
I am not very interested in Denver anyways but they are usually a team I like to bet on when they are -3 or less to a dog. Nothing really against Denver in this spot but If i am iffy on a team or it doesn't look attractive then all I have to see is that specific team a Top Consensus Play to make me stay away. I do think its a terrible spot for Miami however. I just think its too many points to lay.
