I'm calling this one, Scal. Beautiful play. It deserved a write-up and you were the man to do it. The psychological angle, the NBA, our bread and butter:) I only bet a unit, but I'll take it!
thanks Bb
I needed to bet a bit more than a unit ('bit' is being kind) for some previously discussed missteps earlier in the day.
I gotta tell ya, the NBA is much harder for me compared to the NFL this year. First time that has ever happened. It's early but I'm pretty sad it's week 11 next year. Playoffs have never been my strong suit so I have only 5 weeks for NFL picks. Knicks are just a mess and I don't presently have a pulse for them. Throws me off my game.

BTW, can't believe so many smart cappers would bet this game based on matchups. The Lakers are not the Nuggets (an auto fade). They are a proud franchise with one of the greatest, most competitive players still playing for them. Hello!
BB it's one of the primary reasons I follow the Lakers and of course, is essential to capping them in spots like this!
Not sure what other people saw but when I opened several threads I was confused at the Hornets love. Hindsight is 20/20 saying this after the Lakers win but people have to remember the Hornets are the one team this year the Knicks not only beat, but for 3.5 quarters, dominated. And the Knicks are an absolute mess right now.

It's that triangle crap. It will take a while. I've taken your advice and tried to closely follow a few teams. Saints and Niners in the NFL, Warriors in the NBA. Much better that way. I'm eying Giants/Niners next week for a big play. I'd appreciate your insights on the Giants as they have had the Niner's number.

Nice. It's a great way to cap. You'll have almost a 'personal relationship' with the team (strange but true).
The Giants have a myriad of problems but a big one is the absence of Rashad Jennings. I just can't back them without him. Bradshaw and Williams stink. While Jennings's stats won't blow you away, he ran for 176 vs. Houston in the Giants first win of the year. Since he went down in week 5 after a win over ATL?
Giants have been outscore 137-62 and have gone 0-4.
Giants with him? 3-2 and he single handedly won that Houston game.
Again the offense just clicks better with him in there (and this is still with a new offensive system, the growing pains of which we are still seeing).
There are other problems. Lack of competent receivers being one of the main ones.
I basically never bet anything over 10 in the NFL but I was more tempted than ever to slam Seattle (I teased them down which always solves the problem).
So for me, the key is this: will Jennings play. The Giants problems go deeper than this but this is a primary one and I haven't posted the Giants much at all this year due to this issue and how greatly it affects them (some here will say I'm wrong and that's fine). It does so keep an eye on his status for your side (and if he does come back, will he be effective).

Just couldn't do it. Warriors were just too impressive.
A write up on your part could have helped!
I know bro. I was so wrapped up in these fantasy football match ups and just got home from playing ball so was in a rush. We both won so that's what matters!!

Forget fantasy football. All work...almost no payoff...and while you get to know bench players well, individual performances skew your perception of the team as a whole when laying:taking a number.
I did an entire season of NBA fantasy and made $100. Please. I like the $100 but not for 6 months work!
And I'm not entering $1,000 leagues where one injury derails my season either.
