can't consider it a trap at this point

sure the public is pounding on HOUSTON however the lines adjusted to it already, it moved by a half point from its opening line. If you ask me the LAKERS feels more of a trap than the HOUSTON line. I think I will wait until a few hours before the game begins and see how the line moved.

Houston score over 130 points over the NYKnicks.  Everyone's riding high on Houston right now.  But honestly, I can't see them blowout the Craptors (even though they are as crappy as they come...)

Game will be close.  I like raptors.

Only reason why anyone likes the craptors is because only 4% of the public is on them and they want to believe Vegas will gain the 96% of money riding on Houston. I can't see that happening. Can't find any other reasons to justify taking Toronto. Anyone care to try?

Just like the Spurs -5.5 against the shitty Wizards was a trap, right?

Bad teams lose. It's what they do.

Rockets win. Raptors at best will lose in dramatic style. No win for them.

If you believe in TRAPS, you should stop betting.  There are no such things... Basketball is a game of rhythm, shot selection, set plays and stupidity (yeah that's right, dumb plays by low IQ players at the wrong time in the game.. that ends up costing their team a win).  If you don't make your shots or designed plays, you don't win the game no matter how stack a team you have...plus don't forget about defending the ball.

What you can't predict is a team (bad or good) sinking 60% of their shots.. no matter how good/bad a defense is.... and remember this... the cRaptors are capable of giving you a measly 5 points in a quarter!

Last night a lot of people thought the Spurs/Wizards game yesterday was a trap.. guess what happened to them with a -5.5 line? Spurs win by 20+ points

Lines are set, but adjusted as bets come in.  There are people out there that believe in the cRaptors so the line sits where it sits.
Vegas/book set a line to middle and they win by way of collecting the juice on losses... while the average bettor scratches their heads prior to the game thinking the same thing OP is thinking right now...

What I've learned over the last couple of years watching the cRaps is.. if you for some reason fell off your bed overnight and sustained a minor concussion and decide to play the cRaps... only take them 1st Q or 1st Half... avoid the full game and they seem to run out of steam or game IQ later in the 3rd/4th quarters.

The only angle bettors might even think of is.. Houston travels to OKC tomorrow night where Harden tries to exact revenge on this former team...only it won't matter... OKC wins.

That can work the opposite as well. A lot of the players seem to be sensitive to their coach and this tragedy so they might be emotionally worn down. And as hard as they try, they may not blow out anybody. They might get beat or barely win.

My point is that a lot of times these situations are motivational. Brett Favre, Torry Smith, etc...You always hear about those but you always forget when it works the opposite.

Lol. Don't think the Rockets are good enough to look past anybody. Only good teams look ahead.

Have you seen the last 5-6 raptors games? They have played so many close games. and most of the time they have held the lead in the 4th quarter. I wouldn't take Hou -6 with confidence. Raptors are not gonna win, but may keep the game close. This is the 1st game of a tough 5 game west trip for them. And Lowry is making his return to Houston as well.
