Great writeup amigo!!

I was close to making my second NBA post season bet yesterday afternoon on the Rockets, put got gun shy.

May play this wknd Celtics and Rockets both on the square. 

NBA...I don't love betting on this game

Nice hit Achilles. Next up Cavs lol. Do folks actually believe Celtics gonna win the series? Haha. They have some good  young talent but no star power for Celtics. Who wants to see Celtics vs Dubs? Lol.  Wouldn't Cavs vs Dubs get better ratings? Lebron vs Big 3. Sometimes you have to factor in those things cuz they do matter.

Warriors always usually start the game off slow, because they know they can get back in it. Betting against Warriors 1st quarter has been gold this season. 2nd and especially 3rd quarter is when they Dubs make their move. Just Rockets came out with more intensity for all 4 quarters and Dubs never got into a rhythm.Didnt watch much of the game just here and there because i was watching Golden Knights but the times i saw it Rockets were driving to the basket with authority. Saw a pass to PJ from the wing and he slammed that dunk home. The passes were much sharper. Thats what i said before the game, they need to score in the paint and that will help them get more open looks outside instead of game 1 where they forced outside shots. 

I think we got a series now, but like i said Warriors will finish in 6 at Oracle. Rockets could possibly steal one but if they do Warriors will close out the rest of the way

Letsbreakem: we’ve seen the Cavs/dubs already. It’s washed up. Plus if the Cavs get there again this year, what’s Lebron gonna do? Lose? Im not saying Boston will have any better if a chance but at least the bread crumbs will be spread for us to think about what if.....when Gordon and Kyrie are healthy. Anything can happen though going forward in that it is Lebron and it is the NBA. I just feel if the Cavs get beat, it allows an easier breakup for lebron and the Cavs and it plays into silvers love for those superteams. We’ll see though......

Didn’t mean “Simple as that” in the way that your thinking.  It was meant to say that instead of a deep, highly complicated conspiracy between players, Adam silver and the league that your proposing, I believe it simply came down to desire, focus and effort.

Lebron has his bags packed for LA.  He hinted in a roundabout way that he rather lose now than in finals AGAIN.  He is the Jim Kelly of the NBA.  A perfect way out.  Restart of old rivalry..

All good brotha. You mention highly complicated? Actually it’s pretty simple in my eyes. Desire, focus and effort are great and always factor into wins like last nite but like I said above, the warriors are one of the few teams who can turn the switch when they want and in certain situations when NEEDED, they aren’t as locked in as they can be. The rockets played great but when watching the dubs throw the ball away and go through the motions on defense to me, it’s obvious. But again, I’m in the minority with my stance on this. Keep dominating those props brotha; you’ve been killing it! Well done.

Yeah you got a point. Lebron can't beat Dubs by himself so maybe he'll lose and form a super team with some other superstars. I can't see any teams beating Dubs right now. They're a force.

Media all over the fact that up 2-0 Boston has NEVER lost a 7 game series and when teams are down 0-2, 6% of the time teams come back (about a 250 series sample size). For me, there isn’t much to break down here. Feel free to do so but there isn’t a stat that points to the Cavs just like there wasn’t one in game 2 that pointed to the rocketsz well....we all know what happened in that game!

 We know what both teams are capable of in the east and we know the ATS records. Do the Cavs come out and get a W here or do the Celtics put a stranglehold on the series by going up 3-0? I will say this......looking at the spread which I feel was already predetermined before this series started and looking at the ML prices, expectations are the Cavs at least win. Does that happen though? Also, in talking to the sheep, the purists, the ones that basically make up the majority of the betting public, there is no hesitation from them in that they say, if I’m getting 6.5 up 2-0, I will take Boston. I wonder if that’s what the books want? Listen, I get the thought process there but with the public all over the Celtics spread, I’m curious to see how this thing goes. I feel lebron is leaving Cleveland as most agree but do we get one last push by the Cavs here? Can’t wait until game 3.

If it is then i think its still the right play. I see this series being similar like the 1st round when the Cavs went against the Pacers the Cavs only covered 1 game in that entire series!

 and could be similarly like when the Celtics went against the Bucks. Celtics lost both games but covered at least 1 of them. 

Might get a mishmash here. Cavs win both, C's cover one or both. Or Cavs split and C's cover one or both. I dont see 2 straight covers happening for the Cavs regardless if they win or not but prevailing wisdom suggests Lebron will not get swept I think thats almost a certainty. 

I think whichever game has the higher percentage favoring the favorite will not cover.

I think the only way Cavs get a chance to cover is if they are an underdog or very small favorite. That will only happen if Cavs are in elimination mode.
