How can Anyone in their right mind bet the NBA?

Well learned my lesson that there are other ways to lose money while bored

I find betting the NBA similar to day trading stock options. Following NBA teams is like following a stock on a Stochastic Oscillator. Teams drift back and forth between overbought and oversold positions. You just have to follow along and run with it when you're with the flow and back off when you lose it. I do most of my betting "live," and I bet a lot of moneyline dogs.

 Great points but getting into the heads of these players is the tough part, they are such Diva's, more than any other sport I believe.  Plus you find out right before tip off sometimes that someone is taking the night off, or their head is not into it. Too long a season allows this so it is a grind.  I just find so many better opportunities in other sports and I have success in other sports. If you have a system that works, go for it, best of luck and keep cashing.

I worked for 5 years in the NBA while in college...I managed my HS and College Team.

I know How these guys think...he'll- several friends played in the league...one with Shaq and 1 with AI.

Needless to say, I usually do pretty well.

82 games plus preseason and postseason is a Grind.

 Invaluable experoence from the inside, good points.   To me I make money on College Football and Basketball, then Baseball is my 3rd option,  All other sports incuding the NFL are just for fun,  NBA is last on my list, i may through $50 bucks on a Christmas day game as usually primetime is a motivator for these narcissists.......All other times too unpredicatable......
