How can Anyone in their right mind bet the NBA?

I gave up, with Players resting when they feel like it, tanking it, and the other BS that goes on in this league,  I gave up on this League last season.  So glad I did, focus my effortsa on real profit areas.  So much bettter value in CBB, MLB, NCAAF and virtually anyother sport!  Hell, even Tennis is easier......

Please Explain to me why you bet it?  

I will admit, I keep tabson it and will bet the playoffs as that is the only real meaningfull time to bet it......

Lol no, the nba is a crap shoot... Rigged or not, the players and refs know what the outcome needs to be. 

I’ll bet live in the 4th quarter. At least there is some sense where the game is going

I will add unless it's playoffs. Then u can try to cash because atleast u know with it being a playoff game u will get an honest effort.  Regular season most guys  just going through the motions so to speak. Who knows what game they are gonna decide to ball out or which one they will sleepwalk ?

 I used to think the same way.    Started playing around with some numbers, tested a few things and found something that i think works for me.  Been collecting data since 2011, and understand the things you mention - thus you gotta track it keep, keep up with players resting/not playing etc and be very selective.    I have a criteria that i follow and if certain games don't meet that criteria it's a no go i.e, LAC/OKC not touching it.

You make some very valid points. It is very frustrating that guy get “load mananegemt” and are not playing when you think that they are. Of course, this is all announced just minutes before the game. It makes it so much more challenging to bet the NBA and I often am left asking myself why. 

I believe the key is to be really, REALLY selective and look for good situational basketball. 

tbh just bored asf I never bet the NBA this early on but Football and for some odd reason they pushed the World Series to this weekend

The NBA requires a bit more misdirection being that you have games everyday.

The reasons you point out are precisely what make this sport a live bettor´s paradise

On a side sheet, bet every game for a month and after a month you should be able to see on your sheet whos turn is it  to cover the spread. Also do not open multiple bets, wait until one bet is over then you make another bet. Remember that  in gambling less is more, the less you bet the more chances to win. I bet one game a night and thats it, same amount always. It works for me.

NBA is by far my favorite sport to bet.  I do better at it than any other sport.  Every year I go crazy all Summer waiting for the season to start.  I don't understand why people think it is such a crap shoot.  I find it much easier to cap than a football game.  Baseball?  Hockey?  Forget it.
