I love the Celtics tonight but I do think the Cavs will be motivated. Think about it, the Celtics go out and knock the bogus 3 last night, what better way to stick it to Lebron than getting up for this game and beating the team that just smacked him in the mouth the night before.
That being said, I still love the Celtics tonight, they are the best team in the East and will play in the finals again this year.

I'd agree with you if this were last year's complacent Cavalier team.
However, I love Byron Scott in this spot. Don't get me wrong, he's got his work cut out for him this year. But just as Doc Rivers and the Celts had over a month to gameplan for opening night, Byron Scott had the Cavs prepping for THIS game weeks ago. Do you think Boston once thought about the Cavs before say, midnight last night?
"Back to back" and "letdown" are merely secondary intangibles in this scenerio.
Cavs win straight up.
this is coming from a cavs fan.
you silly.

Who steps up? Everyone. The Cavs won't be very good this year, but they will become more of a team. I'll bet a few guys on that roster are looking forward to playing larger roles this season. If I were a Cavalier, I'd be long past the LeBron mourning period and instead looking on the bright side of things, knowing that we're all going to get more touches, more shots, and be entrusted with much more responsibility.
Who is everyone? If you are the Cav who gets the ball with 5 seconds?

I challenge all you Cavs. backers to tell me what area that they are better in. Guard Play? Rebounding? Defense? :Leadership? Both the tangibles and intangibles all point to the C's. Lets go player for player! Lets go bench for bench! If you think for one second that the C's line up is not better than 1 point a Q you are crazy!!!!!! I will never use the "L" word but this game is the best play of the day maybe the year! Yes this might go down as the Bet of the Year! You will not see a line like this the rest of the season unless half the team is hurt.
