I thought for sure Celts win game 1 at home without Embiid…
how do I get my money back?
@CVSPharm23
Shame on you for laying -500 on a chalk in the playoffs...its been well documented that the spread does not matter in the playoffs so therefore..why even lay ML on a chalk.. if they don't cover..they lose SU....

You are too fucking stupid to be gambling. Find a new hobby.

You could of wagered $500 on the sixers for low risk high reward. Worse case scenario you’re down $500.. risking 5k to win $1000.. damn dude don’t know what to tell you.. deep inside you feel how stupid the bet was to begin with.. at best you could of lived bet but even then there prolly was no value since the game was close and Vegas prolly didn’t give the Celtics any + ML until the end of the game.. so yea just not worth it dude. Sorry hope you get it back.

Easy answer to CVSPharm23's predicament. I think he should simply dig into the bottomless pile of imaginary money with which he places his imaginary bets. Betting with imaginary funds is actually very smart because doing so removes one of the great mental obstacles that real bettors face - the ups and downs of one's bankroll. CVSPharm23 bets with no pressure upon him because the money isn't real. I'd imagine that the emotional toll he doesn't endure really helps keep his mind right. Not a lot of second guessing needs to be done when it doesn't matter if you lose.

You should know better than to post this type of question on this forum, let alone any sports forum.

Do it again next game, get your damn money back, can't see The C's losing 2 at home (with or without Embiid), and they're still favored to win the East and the Championship. That was a fluke.

If it was a verbal bet, tell your bookie to pound salt for taking it. If you placed the bet with a casino or money up front. You must have funds to back up such loses unless your really mindless. I used to love to have grown people cry over the phone because they lost money they didn't have in the 1st place or cry their wife was going to leave them. Times were very different back then. Majority or 90% paid when they had a losing week.
