Up 12 with 5 minutes. Winning by 15 isn't tough. OH But its the NBA. They need to close to the line I get it. HMM Ok Maybe that explains Golden States 3 points in 5:30.
Over Under 214. Game total 213.
NBA is pure bro super pure. About as pure a dirty mexican resorts alcohol.
Must be a Craptors homer.

BB I understand and totally get your point on refs turning momentum towards 1 side and then later balancing out the calls but this game turned in the 3rd qtr. 17,18-0? Run.. that was the ball game

I don't disagree, but watch the first half again and tell me the refs didn't help keep the Warriors in the game so they could have life in the second half. Warriors got all the 50/50 calls and then some. The teeth was taken out of the Raptors defense with those early fouls on Lowry and Siakam. Those fouls had a huge impact on the game.

I DVR’d the game. Will check it out tomorrow. It did look like Toronto was on the verge of blowing the game open. GS down only 5,6? At the half was HUGE

BB...Iiked that Kerr adjusted and started Cousins and
actually played Bogut!!....figure that.....interested to see if Nurse
does any adjustments....But it might be a moot point if KD comes back in Game 3 or 4...this series might be over...
I think Danny Brown should be benched for the series. This dude doesn’t even resemble a professional basketball player out there. His weird shooting form to me is indicative of his poor shooting. If he can’t make open threes he’s useless. He doesn’t even defend great. Sit him down. Give Powell his mins.

The Thompson injury creates a whole new level of intrigue. It could be that KD comes back and Thompson is out, which evens things out again, especially as KD won't be 100% and/or his old self the first game or two. All this gives Curry the inside track to win the MVP, id the Warriors prevail.

Cousins and Bogut were both great. That's what you need against a beast like Gasol, not an undersized center like Looney. His injury was a blessing in disguise. Who knows what happens if he gets all the minutes Cousins and Bogut got.

Will be interesting to see how the Raptors play at Oracle. Warriors won the game and hit the shots. Raptors didn't. It was good to hear the Toronto fans shut their yaps and have those stupid looks on their face. Iggy drained that mofo. Raptors made their living at the line vs Philly also and again late in the game. Stop being so angry about losing and making excuses. It is over Warriors were the better team in Game 2. Klay better be right and if Durant can get back..well. It will be very interesting.

Thompson is such a stud...I think he plays through his hamstring...BB.... but this line is moving up Game 3....seems like an overreaction.....like your thoughts...

If you recall, before the series began I predicted a split in Toronto and a split in Oakland, with the Warriors winning game 5 (in a nail-biter) and then game 6. I do like the Warriors to win game 3, but I also liked them to win game one. We still don't know who is playing, so I think I'd wait until I knew that much.

Raptors shot more FTs. They shot 9 more in the 2nd half, which is when the Warriors made there run. *their
You guys are kidding, right? You can't be serious. It's not about the # of fouls, or # of free throws. It has never been about that, or only about that. Refs even things out as the game goes along to make chumps like you think it was all fair and square. Did you not see when those fouls came? Who they were on? How they impacted the flow of the game? All you look at is the box score? The refs kept the warriors in the game when they were floundering and were about to let go of the rope. The late fouls on the warriors were pretty meaningless, as the they were in control by that point. Really, if this is the level of analysis on covers (i.e., the final box score) I'll have to go elsewhere.
Yes, please go elsewhere. There are bad calls on both sides if every single NBA game. Biased eyes like yours see what they want and not what they don't. Yes, the timing and nature of calls have more impact than the final number. And you can make the argument that the refs kept Golden State in it in the 1st half but the Raptors still had the lead at half time. And in the half where the Warriors put their foot on the Raptors' necks, the 2nd, the Raptors shot 9 more FTs than the Warriors. And because who got the most help from the refs is completely subjective, # of FTs is the only metric we can go on. In the most egregious "rigged" games in history, Mavericks/Heat, Lakers/Kings, ect., there have been huge descrepancies in FTs. So to say a team got screwed when they shot more FTs, regardless of timing, is completely asinine. The Raptors lost because they got lazy on defense and predictable on offense. That's all.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Oh, and Van Vleet was 2-8 from 3. Kawhi was 2-9. Gasol and Siakam combined to go 0-5. It's like I said in someone's thread friday or saurday, "You can cap the h3ll out of these games but in today's NBA, it often comes down to who hits their 3s. Games came in here after one game and thought the Warriors were paper champs and that the Raptors were hands down better. Now those same people are looking for excuses. Guy's who are hack cappers always look for excuses. I'm a real capper so I watch a lot of games and let me tell you, the refs decide a lot fewer games than people think.

Stu, you are such a homer that you've lost all objectivity. Yes, the Warriors played well in the 2nd half. But two things can be true at the same time! They played well and the refs kept them in the game so they could have a chance. Raptors defense lost its sting in the 2nd half in part because Lowry and Siakam were playing with 3 fouls! Hello?! What about that don't you understand? Stop playing dumb.

I also think Lowry picking up cheap fouls after foul and playing only 20+ minutes hurt Toronto.
I love the phrase "cheap fouls" because it puts all the onus on the player and none on the official who called it. Fouls are fouls, and they occur all the god damn time. Picking up a foul is like getting a speeding ticket when we know everyone else is also speeding! It is up to the official's/officer's discretion as to whom he decides to call a foul on or to pull over for a speeding ticket and is therefore purely arbitrary. When people wake up to this simple truth/fact, then maybe we can have a real conversation, one that hopefully does not include the term "cheap foul."

I should’ve clarify. By cheap fouls, I really meant the refs were calling some phantom “let them play” calls on him. Took him out of his game.
BB- if Klay is a go for game 3 and KD is still out. How do you see it going? I see 2-2 heading back to Toronto but not sure which oneTOR takes, 3 or 4.

I see 2-2 as well. I'll take a rusty KD over a gimpy Klay but both scenarios are not ideal IMO. I can't see either having a huge impact. My guess is only one of those guys plays and Curry will have to have a monster game for them to win.

Yes, i'm a homer but i'm completely impartial in this. I'm a capper first so I don't let bias cloud my judgement. Whether the Warriors win or lose doesn't really matter when the mortgage is do or the wife wants a Louis bag. Honestly, I watched this team be trash for the first 30 years of my life. I've now seen them win three championships and now play in their 5th. They could never win another one and i'd be fine.
.....but yeah, i'm a homer and huge Warriors fan. A real homer. I was born at Kaiser on Broadway. Went to all Oakland schools. Went to high school like 7 blocks from where I was born. H3ll, I even worked at the Coliseum as a union stagehand in my early 20's. I am Oakland. I am the Bay. I've been on some of the grimiest blocks in Oakland, Richmond, HP, Sunnydale with the Usos. I've been in Irish Bars in the outer Sunset. Not pubs. Bars. The kind where most black dudes would be called racial slurs and kicked out. I live it. You're just another transplant of which the Bay Area has too many of.
