No. He's worth the hype. This is coming from a frustrated Lakers fan. Dude needs to be cut some slack for being poorly conditioned most of the season due to his back surgery. And any knowledgable basketball fan will understand being a big man is the most frustrating position if you are not used properly. Largely the coaches fault and manaent for hiring the coach. Orlando had terrible role players and Dwight carried them to several deep playoff runs. He also has 3 or 4 (I forget) DPOY awards. He rebounds insanely well and alters team's approaches with his inside presence. Shame his career is going to waste. He needs a team and coach who will treat him properly and can unlock his full potential.

Any knowledgeable basketball fans knows that the only thing this guy is good at is REBOUNDING and that's because he's freakish huge. He's below average in every other aspect of the game. No low post moves, cant shoot, cant make FTs, mental midget, lazy on defense... and the list goes on.
He's just a huge body and that's why he's ridiculously overrated. He has no basketball talent

Yup, number 5 in blocks last year with the injury. Pretty below average.
2nd in double-doubles....pretty below average.
2nd in FG percentage. And he took more than everyone in the top 10 except Lebron and Horford. Don't care if they were dunks....still counts.
Another moron graces the forums at covers.
Agreed on your comments about d12.....of course everyone in the forum is entitled to an opinion.....so no comment on our comment about our fellow post opinion about d12 being below average
But Dwight was clearly playing hurt or dinged up.....clearly not 100%
Was playing with wrong coch...wrong style....and as good as Kobe is....he did not want to play with Kobe ( he was traded to lakers)
His free throw problem was always a problem....just like shaq has always had that problem
Even with the smear from he media and the fans.....to me, he was the #1 center in the league last year

Thank you Hutch and CT for responding to the other post. I agree with most of this post but take issue with this part. The 2009 team was the best team Orlando has had since Shaq and Penny. Jameer was playing unbelievable that season, Turkeygoo was in his prime and was a very good player. Same with Rashard. Those 2 guys created a mismatch against almost every team in the league because they had 2 6'9 guys who could step outside and shot. Their spacing was a large part of the success that Dwight had between 2007-2009. The reason he played with so many scrub the years following 2009 is the result of an ego driven star and complete moron of gm listening to the guy.
Anyways dudes hands down the best center in the league.

Anyways dudes hands down the best center in the league. The Bynum nut huggers and Gasol fan boys before are what we call idiots. Those who don't understand his impact on a game aren't very savvy basketball fans.
