All those who says because of one game that one doesn't understand spreads or whatever....
I don't care.
One game of a long season. Hawes and Holiday with the game of their lives and George can't hit the rim.
Yes, in any other given day, this should have been a Pacers blowout.
Congrats to those who won, even a blind capper sometimes sees the light, so enjoy it while you can.
BOL.
Jesus...wait, I already said that. Seriously, your comments indicate you really do lack an understanding to line spreads. If I was a bookie, I would have made a killing on you (-6.5), your sidekick (-7), and the other goof who said Pacers should have been -9.5.
You're missing the point; no one said your play was bad and everyone does lose games each day. No big deal. But the moment you think YOU outsmarted the bookies and Vegas, you're setting yourself up for a lifelong trip down Disaster Lane. And that's a one-way road. Funny Cartoon Man.

Hunter, as I said - I really don't care what you or others may think about my capping skills or what goes through my wallet.
I lost. I didn't miss your point. No one can understand the bookies mind, but I still believe that Indy was the smart play. That's why in the long term I have more....
Well, i said i don't care what you think about my statements... Tomorrow is a new day.
I still say you're bitter dude. Lighten up.

Lol how can you make that statement NOW after spending the whole day proclaiming the books screwed up this line big time. You are a walking contradiction. You and probably 80-90% of the betting public also thought this was the "smart" play.
Me, bitter? Funny man. I won today. I'm far from bitter. I'm actually quite funny too. Follow me daily to pick up some pointers Funny Cartoon Man.

Dealhunter, you're a moron. I make a living betting the NBA. The result of this game was largely due to West's continual foul trouble. Not something that you could have predicted, and definitely not something that you did predict. In fact, you never gave any reasons for your position. You're just a blind pig finding an acorn.
Philly bettors were extremely lucky, and 6 times out of 10 the Pacers would cover 9.5 in this situation.

Don't we all? That's why we're on here on Covers - because we make so much money that we have time to waste doing stuff like this.
"The result of this game was largely due to West's continual foul trouble. Not something that you could have predicted,"
Thanks for giving us a summary of the game. But just stop, please. You are making it sound like fouls aren't a part of the game. Funny stuff funny man. No one is accusing you of not being able to predict that but now you're just making excuses for a loss. Nice try funny man.
"...and definitely not something that you did predict."
Lol, just stop please. You're right, I made no such prediction. In fact, I don't make predictions. Why should I? Hell should I know what's going to happen once the ball drops. Did any of my posts offer a prediction? Nope. I just said you and your funny friends should not try to outsmart Vegas by saying the line should be -6.5, -7 and in your goofy case, -9.5.

Dealhunter, I don't understand your attitude. I never claimed I was outsmarting the bookie. Saying I like IND at -7 therefore I like them even more at -4.5 just means I was high on them. It didn't happen, but don't act all mighty because Hawes nearly had a quadruple double. Congrats to all who didn't fall at IND's hands.

I guess I'd like to know, how on earth did you come up with -7 in your head (I'm actually more intrigued on how the lad above you came up with -9.5 in his delusional head).

6ers covered against Miami because the Wells Fargo Center was pretty much sold out...That never happens in Philly...That the first time they covered against Miami in a while and they gave Miami everything they had to offer because Miami kills them every time thye play...Yes Philly has rest and Indy is B2B, But i guess ill be the sucker once again and take Indy-5 after that bad loss to the Lakers last night. Hoping Indiana just suffocates them...GL
It looked pretty full versus indy

I'd like to know why people would think a team that isn't even .500 on the road and was on a B2B should be favored by -7 or more. Yup, that makes sense. Idiots.

The lousy Sixers against a beast team that just lost last night to one of their huge rival? West ain't gonna shoot that bad again. Only 4.5 points given? If this is a trap, well, i'm falling for it.
Good luck!

Small people like to make fun of people after the act.
Well, why don't you all go back to your daily jobs....
Dear friends that had the same pick as me - it's all good, keep placing the right bets. People being smart and saying indy is so bad away from home. Yeah, Sixers are just beasts at home. OK.
Nice discussion we had here... I just hope mr. bitter man won't say again "just stop, please", this is too much
Now, back to work. Chap chap.

Thanks for the discussion milky. Keep posting. It's good to hear all sides to make an informed decision. Pro cappers over the long haul hit 55 percent.
