Well, I learned that 2 teams that have traded away their best players and been maligned in the media come out firing and it makes sense as other players on the team have essentially been dismissed and marginalized. But will it continue? We've had 4 "playoff" play-in games and 3 were snoozers and the other Jimmy took 18 free-throws, that's not sus at all. I feel like the Man set the hook Tues and Wed b/c everyone won, everyone. Now the trap is set for peeps to have a bad Friday and chase all weekend. Heat/Hawks meh. Mavs/Grizz feels like everyone is drinking the Mavs cool-aid and Grizz have been so trashed in the media and they got punked in that set-up game v Ws, may go Grizz alt lines. Typically, these 8 seed games 1 team realizes they are about to go on vaca and the games go under, which one? For some reason I do like ORL against Boston, maybe a +2.5 series bet? That means they have to win 2, can they do that? I'm hoping Clips lose G1 at Nuggs so I can grab them at +175. I actually think Bucks are worse with Lillard, ain't that something. Lakers last game on ABC on Saturday will have all the chase $$$, cannot wait to see where everyone's heads are it when we get to that point. I'ma take it nice and slow as I'm about to be in the deep end of this billion-dollar charade and want to come out alive.

Ok here we go Friday morning! My favorite day of the week!! I'm going off the res but you know that's what I do. Waiting for ref assignments that come out in an hour. I have 3 unorthodox angles on this that may or may not work out. Numero Uno, I cannot find any data of not only AD coming off a big game with a day's rest but also both he and Klay coming off big games in the same game and then suiting up on 1 day's rest. Numero 2, everyone knows I went all in on Lakers getting 3 seed and Ws not getting 6 seed and that played out. I think that Grizz/Ws game was jenky, Butler w 18 FTs the League needed Ws to get that game and sacrificed Grizz, so I think the League rewards Memphis here. Numero tres, and this is where I go a lil bananas, if I'm Mavs owner there is no way in hell I let my star player who is dealing w an abductor strain and has only played a handful of games and is prone to injury go all out here and put him in another long series against OKC where he will get targeted and beat up and may jeopardize the team's future which is already dealing w the Kyrie injury. In my mind, Mavs shut this game down, take the W at Sac and go into the Summer as healthy as possible. I'd be shocked, not broke, but shocked if Mavs give max effort here for all 48 minutes, like Neon Dion said if it don't make dollars it don't make sense. Once I see who they trot out on the whistle, I'll make final decision but it will be Grizz.
Where's my guy Scott Foster lurking? He is the #1 ref option in the playoffs and hasn't been on the court in over a month. You know I'm tracking you #48, I bet you pop up in the Lakers' series you rat bastage.

I'm still banking on Mav actually don't want to advance and risk injuries. Imo, it does them no good to win this and then get embarrassed by OKC. That'd only give Mavs 2 more home games where fans would protest against Nico and drag out this dysfunction. If I'm Nico that's not a good look and I'd shut my team down now off that W at Sac and slink into the off season healthy.
