Celtics vs Rockets 

The Rockets have given up 114 points or more in 7 of their last 10 matchups. The Celtics have surrendered an average of 120 points to opponents in their last 6 games. To make matters worse for the Celtics they’ve allowed opponents to shoot an average of 48.6 percent from long range, by far the worst mark in the league during that span. We got a glimpse of what Kevin Porter could look like when it’s time for him to rise to the occasion. Porter had 27 pts, 3 reb, 8 ast, 1 stl, and 2 blk. He was 1 of 9 from 3 point territory though. These two teams couldn’t ask for a better matchup to get back on track. Keep in mind the Rockets shot an awful 9 of 43 from beyond the arc and I fully expect them to shoot better on their home court. Sometimes the final score doesn’t reflect how well a team played and I don’t know what it will take for the Rockets to come away with a victory here but the ball must go in the hoop. Against Utah the Rockets dominated in several key categories(off reb, points in paint, second chance points, points off turnovers. Hopefully Silas had his team watch some film to correct their mistakes while continuing to do the things they did right. These guys are due for a victory and played much better than what it appears their last time out and I think 10.5 points is way too much for the Celtics to cover. Kevin Porter Jr is a real deal upcoming star in this league and he’s finding his touch. He also showed some chemistry between him a Patton. I think we found ourselves a high scoring game here. Wall will be out but Oladipo could return. 

Jazz vs Warriors

The Warriors have looked out of sinc on offense. They got thrashed by the Clippers to the tune of 130 points. I suspect Kerr will tweak the starting lineup a bit once again as he’s done all season. After the Clippers embarrassed them in LA defense should be the focal point. Wiseman was benched three quarters during that matchup and should move into the starting lineup to matchup with Gobert. The Warriors have averaged under 100 points in their last 4 games. If the Warriors are to keep this one close it will require a solid defensive effort. Teams in this league are adjusting to teams who rely on one man like the Warriors. We saw the Lakers do it. We saw the Clippers do it. Can the Jazz do it? I think they can but for now I’ll take my chances with the Under due to recent performance.

So you don’t see any value on the Over in Houston? I think this one sails over the total. I mean the Rockets suck I know but they only hit 9 of 43 shots from downtown verse the Jazz. If they can repeat that performance verse the Jazz and knock a few more shots down we got ourselves a winner. Like I said above the Celtics have worst defensive 3 point defense over the span of 3 games. Houston has also had great success verse the Celtics so they come into this game with much confidence. And just to add to that the Celtics haven’t seen this roster before so they will be making adjustments on the fly. I see lots of points scored in this one.

With smart back in the lineup the Celtics play better defensively . 

oh and let’s not forget about that Jazz/Warriors game earlier this season. The game was not even close. I think the total was set at 228.5. The Warriors got 37 or 39 points from their reserves and most of them points were in garbage time with the game well out of reach. To give you a better understanding the score was 108-72 at the end of the third and the Warriors enter this matchup playing like crap offensively. I’m also not expecting the Jazz to put up the amount of points they did in their last matchup with GS. Repeating the same performance twice against the same opponent is rare in the NBA. 

Bro they also play better offensively with him in the lineup. You guys gotta go look at the stat box when Houston played the Jazz so maybe you can see what I’m thinking. 9 of 43 from three point range is horrendous in the NBA and those numbers gotta improve against the defense of the Celtics.

Brown and Walker also played a horrendous game. Their FG percentage combined was horrible. I expect them both to step it up as well. 

Slap we need some basketball good hits on the day. Guru is feeding us hockey but not NBA

houston is horrible offensively.....they shoot clunkers all day lol...oladipo shooting 3s is hilarious

the celts arent a run and gun team, and their coach is fairly defensive minded

but ya maybe celts/rockets ends 118-106, hard to say, could depend on if the refs call a lot of fouls and send the players to the stripe

one thing houston has going for them is they attempt a lot of 3s....

personally not touching the game though

I haven’t made a single post bashing anyone today and look at these haters mad because I shared my thoughts on the Okc game. As soon as you lose they got something to say.
